My family lives to stay in this hotel. We love that it is further from the lake, still easy access. We can relax, enjoy the beautiful garden and love the people. The beds are comfortable and the quality of furniture is outstanding. Great value !

Relaxing, friendly, and great vacation for the family

We stayed there in august 2014 for a couple of nights. Hotel is hard to find, just a small sign by the road. Surrounding is kind of "nobody cares". Room was clean, bathroom too but every single item there was old (shower, sink, matress, tv, fridge). Breakfast was just as everything else - you will not stay hungry if you are not picky. Staff was nice although just one person spoke english (however we got the feeling that in that part of Hungary that we saw most of domestic people do not speak english not even in McDonalds!?). There is a solid wi-fi near reception. Lake is cca 12km away and if you do not have a car you're doomed. Wouldn't go there again.

If you do not expect much, you'll be fine

Got myself a good promotion to stay in this hotel. And as we seen the pictures and the reviews, we knew that we need to put our expectation low, really low.

There are good things to be mentioned:
- Friendly, English-speaking staffs. Not your average concierge, but they helped us when we needed them
- Good full-breakfast. Again, wouldn't be your best one, but it was great if you consider the room price.
- Free Wifi in the reception area.
- Somewhat clean. But there are things you wouldn't want to touch, mostly because they're so old and would fall apart.

Now the bad things:
- Rooms are in dire need for renovation.
- Hotel is only conveniently accessible with car. Located among warehouses, a petrol station and a small airstrip, so unless you are into that kind of things, don't expect view for sightseeing. And Lake Balaton (town Siofok) is 10-minute away from the hotel, though you'd spend more time finding parking space in a typical summer day.

Do I recommend it? Well, if you get the rooms cheap and only stay for a couple of nights. Otherwise, better find something more accessible in the other towns.

Friendly/helpful staffs, good breakfast, but everything else is so-so

We sleep in this hotel one night .In our room is horrible smell a lot of dead flies and alive spiders .Rooms is messy a lot of months.This is horrible hostel no hotel.Pls  peoples never sleep in this hotel neverr.

The hotel is smelly, our room was very dirty and full of dead flies.
It is very old, needs a good cleaning and renovation. Also, it it not near the lake and it was quite difficult to find it. I would never go back there again!!!
