Fuzfa Grillkert – Pizzeria es Panzio

This review is just that of the restaurant, not of the hotel. On a hot Sunday afternoon we had lunch in Fűzfa Grillkert (Grill Garden). Very simple garden with only a few tables, but we got a good table without reservation. On arrival the waiter warned us that the food may take some time to arrive because the kitchen was very busy. As he explained they also do delivery to the beach (an interesting concept, you just have to specify at which – numbered – booth on the beach you want it delivered to). In the end we didn’t have to wait that long. The cold fruit soup was nice, the pizza OK, the grilled turkey breast with olives and feta cheese was excellent. The draught beer was ice cold – just perfect. All in all, a simple, inexpensive place to eat in a very informal way (some patrons were actually in their beach wear). Service was polite and not unbearably slow.
