Bellena bungalows is amazing.  Our favourite accommodation so far.  We have our own cabina that is both spacious and clean.  The kids love the pool (which has a slide) and we aren’t too far from the beach, which is pristine.  Highly recommend for families with young kids.

Fantastic spot. Semi private resort in the perfect location. The cabins have everything you need and are huge.. kids just loved it.

Staff were super helpful. Also nice bonus is the enclosed premises, made us feel very safe with the you FS kids running around.

It is s really place to stay in Uvita.  The beach is really close, perfect for a walk in the morning and for watching the sunset.  The bungalows are well equipped and the beds are comfortable. The staff is really friendly and helpful. I can really recommend this place.

Great location! We loved being able to  walk to the dive shop, national park, and some great dining options. The bungalow is spacious and well appointed. We had everything we need. The staff is also so accommodating. Our flight was delayed nearly 5 hours and the front desk staff was so kind in accommodating a very late check in near midnight. It was such a lifesaver!

We had an amazing time here! The bungalow was very clean and included everything you need! Great pool and great recommendation from the staff. It’s only 5 minutes away from the Marino Ballena park and there are a lot of nice restaurants nearby as well. Definitely worth it! 

We have had a most excellent time at the Bungalows Bellena. The facilities are great, the Bungalows are nice and spacious, with everything you could need for your stay. There is air-condition and ceiling fans in each room which is very nice, and so was it with two bathrooms. The staff is very nice and helpful and provides an excellent service. All in all we have had a very good stay.

Everything was very good and there service was amazing so I don’t have no complaints about it and I will stay here when I make my next trip to Costa Rica and i we’ll let my friends know about this so they can also stay here thank you so much for everything 

Amazing place!  Our room is spacious and equipped with everything we need.  WiFi is strong.  Pool is perfect for kids and it is only a 5 minute walk to the national park.  The managers have been terrific and they will do your laundry for fee (well, a tip is suggested!).  Overall, this is a perfect place to explore Uvita and its surroundings.

Great value for money! The pool is fabulous and the bungalows are tidy and equipped with everything you need. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Location close to the beach/ national park, supermarket and various restaurants. Would definitely come back!

We loved our stay at this place, nice cozy and quiet , beautiful bungalows with 2 rooms and bathrooms, well equipped kitchen and amenities and friendly staff! Just don’t forget to bring shampoo, conditioner as is not provided! They also have a cute resident cat which my daughter loved to spend time with and pet it! They have good security measures like coded gate entrance and security cameras!

Great location and great staff!

Alexia was very friendly. We spent 4 relaxing days in Uvita. We walked to the waterfall and back from the bungalows here. We were also impressed with the beautiful beaches in the National Park, where some of us went surfing. And we really enjoyed the nice pool, too. Any wishes we had were met with a nice smile of Alexia! We were  happy with the laundry 🧺 service, great system and it smells very good!

Beautiful property with nice cozy bungalows

Great place to relax. We stopped their on our way back to San Jose from Corcovado.
The place is very close to the beach and the bellena park. Very clean and accommodating staff.
The bengalows have everything you need to spend a full week if you want. Fully equipped kitchen and terrace with also access to the pool.
An most important it’s is quiet !!

Relaxing stay

Excellent accommodations in the town of Uvita. We stayed in the Orca bungalow.  The kitchen was adequate for our needs.  (My only suggestion would be to include wrapping to preserve leftovers.) There is a market very close, so we were able to buy supplies for breakfasts, and there were several restaurants within walking distance.  (Be sure to eat at Carlito's!)  The staff did our laundry, which was totally unexpected, but greatly appreciated. If you're staying in Uvita, I highly recommend Bungalows Ballena.

Relax by the whale's tail pool

We visited for 3 nights in Jan 2023 as part of our 3 week honeymoon. They upgraded us on the first night because of this, to a hotel down the road. The hotel had AMAZING food and a great pool. It was more of a party hotel but still lovely. 

We had a bungalow for 2 the next two nights and it was great. Good pressured shower, great cooking facilities. The bed was comfortable too. Our decking was quite dark and shadowed but it was private, shame we didn’t get a hammock.

There are communal bbq areas which are great until you have large families from the other, bigger bungalows having parties and blasting music 2 meters from your bed (the walls are thin as made of wood). We spoke to the staff and they asked the other guests to keep it down which they did. Pool was decent with a surprisingly fast slide! 

Location wise it was great; really close to the beach but quiet enough to feel cosy and comfortable. The staff were lovely and extremely accommodating. So nice.

My main issue www with the air con in the bedroom: every so often it would make very loud, aggressive noises. It was impossible to sleep so we had to turn it off (which was then extremely hot). It would also be better if they sprayed mosquito killer in the bungalows during cleaning and changed the towels during stays…

Would really recommend overall!



Lovely 

There are only 4 houses so it gives a lot of privacy. The houses are well maintained and fully equipped so far the best place we’ve ever had in any of our vacations. It was a little noisy in the area on Saturday because of the restaurants and live music but it stopped around 9pm, which was a pleasant surprise. We were very satisfied with the place.

Very comfortable.  The only place we stayed in Costa Rica with a swimming pool and TV.  The staff was very helpful although most of them spoke Spanish only.  Seems to be a favorite for Costa Rican families - a perfect fit.  Extremely convenient to the National Park and restaurants.  Great air conditioning and a nice kitchen.
