Maybe this property better fits younger people. We are in our late 60's and 70's and we need more space and better accomadations. And it was too far from the ocean.

Everything is amazing, great location, great host. If you are looking for pace full place this is it. Willian and crew are amazing, always happy to help and give any advice, support or an smile. Definitely we will return.

Little Paradise!!

We stayed at around 10 locations on 3 week holiday in CR and this was our only bad experience.  
Family of 4, rooms were ok but small, minimal privacy re noise.  Safety/security compromised - all staff were off site on the Saturday evening, with no contact details displayed.  
There was a party held by other guests in 2 of the casa, starting at midnight - we (along with others staying) were really quite frightened - people very drunk, aggressive and they had young children with them who's welfare we were concerned for. There were no details to contact and we felt very vulnerable and didnt get much sleep!
Agree with other reviews, that when staff were there, they seemed bored.

  We stayed in 4 different places in C.R. over approx. 3 weeks vacation. The check-in was fine by a mostly disinterested staff of younger people but that's pretty understandable when you find out what they are paid, so no blame on them.
  The owners are absentee and it would seem their lack of effort is contagious. Little to no maintainence on the dwellings; the first casita was dripping water at a terrible rate in the middle of an awful drought and was never tended to.  When moved to another, the mold in the bathroom was ridiculous due to a leaking sink that had deteriorated the low quality counter top and backsplash with layer upon layer of caulking that wasn't helping.
  Value comparison would put the price point at about $30 but they are charging first world prices for less than third world quality...maybe a little reinvestment would help.
  That said, great location with close proximity to beaches, sodas and stores so keep looking in the area, there are lots of places to rent that easily out class this place
  


Poor value at best

My son and I stayed for three nights. Our welcome was fine, we received some information about the local area although it all seemed a bit hasty. This was also the last time we saw any staff that could speak English. I understand we were in a Spanish speaking country, but it's a touristy place with travellers from all over the world. There seemed to be a bunch of people on the property who weren't staying but were just hanging out, and they made us feel a little unwelcome. For example, if we tried to ask reception anything that looked at us in dismay.

Being the rainy season, there wasn't much opportunity for things to dry. Our bed linen wasn't changed at all during our stay and it seemed a struggle to even get fresh towels. I tried to ask about a public laundry but the language barrier was too much. Some additional info in rooms would have been helpful.

The location is okay, rooms only adequate. The bikes advertised are about the poorest of those we saw at various hotels and rental places.

It's cheap but I think you'd get better value and service elsewhere.

Pretty average, would not recommend

The worst experience I've had on reservations, the terrible reception, the treatment of the super bad staff, the drains, the worst, no drinking water, I recommend improving the communication of personnel to users, attention is very important

REALLY BAD

My family and I visited the hotel recently, we stayed for three nights. We arrived around five minutes before check in and the house was not ready, we had to wait for the maid to finish doing the cleaning. The biggest problem we had was that we were never informed that water in the house was not drinkable, so everyone ended up stomach sick. When we asked at the front desk about the condition of the water, the guy did not show any concern and told us that we should be aware of that situation. Another person working at the hotel told us that the other cabins have warnings not to drink water, in fact, he was surprised there weren’t any in the house we were staying. Apart from that, the house is nice and the location is pretty comfortable, not too close to the Main Street and not too far from the beach.
