192 reviewsI came to Columbia from Toronto, Canada ,and did not have any booking or reservation Spent 4 nights in Bogata before deciding to check out Cartagena. Was lost and a little concerned about accomadation,and found an absolute goldmine when I found Hotel Marlin. A wonderful Aussie girl named Ashley welcomed me to the hotel and offered me a great price for a private room. She was extreamly helpful and put me at ease. I went to the rooftop bar that night and met 2 rockstar barstaff Ross and Maude who were genuine and totally cool ,they really are just fantastic, with spirit. I discovered the next day that Ross is an amazing guitarist, and being a musician myself, we were able to jam together and it sounded pretty good it was a hightlight The other guy I must mention is Jose, the night manager.Jose This guy is terrific and so very good at his job. He can help you with anything and was a valuable part of my stay. He is one of the nicest guys ive met in my life and a really cool cat. So if your looking for a great place to stay, friendly staff and services,this is the best I will definatly go back there and recommend this place to everyone Brad Toronto
