Havana

Had an amazing time in Havana, especially with salsa lessons! Place is located in good place, not too far from Topa tolonga salsa club and Alameda galleria. Beds were comfy and people I met some great people and really plan to go back if I ever come back.

Super bien, barato y tranquilo!
Nice barrio close to the center and a lot of cute restaurants. There are also two restaurants right next to it and you can take solo and group salsa Lessons every day. 
The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, always ready to provide tips and assistance with anything I needed. The check-in process was quick and smooth. The hostel's atmosphere is very welcoming.

My stay in Havana was fantastic! Honestly one of the best hostels I've been to in South America. Awesome atmosphere, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and multiple common areas to relax and enjoy views of the city. I also took salsa and bachata lessons here! It was great having everything in one place. Luis was a great instructor, he is very patient and explains everything so well. I miss Havana!

This hostel. Excellent location, nice common areas, amazing terrace with great view. The hostel is clean and the staff is very helpful. Amazing price too, and very social with many solo travelers like me. The place is also a dance school with both group and private classes. The teachers, Luis and Alejandra, were great at explaining and very patient. At the group classes you had so much fun with the others, great way to get to know people. The private lessons were also super useful when you later at night joined to go out to the salsa clubs.
I always felt safe in the area. Just ask the staff about advice, do´s and don´ts and you should be fine.
If you´re going to Cali, Havana Hostel & Dance school is the place to be!

Havana is a fantastic place to stay. The hostel itself is super comfortable and cute with lots of awesome common areas, including a rooftop terrace. The dance school is great as well! Both the group classes and private classes are affordable and fun, and the teachers are amazing. I’ve learned so much and met so many great people here. Great vibes overall! 🙂

I never came here to learn to salsa - and you don’t have to - but the laid back, happy vibe certainly gets you in the mood. Great place to stay, excellent staff, comfortable and clean with enough on your doorstep to keep you interested. And the salsa! 2 classes a week with great teachers. A real fun stay. Very thankful for all the staffmembers of havana hostel that made my stay unforgettable! A beautiful hostel full with murals, cozy sitting areas, big spacious terraces with amazing views of Cali. Communal kitchens, and a very relaxed and positive vibe! It’s super hygenic and clean and my bed was very comfortable. Two times a week there are Latin dance classes which are a party on itself. I had the experience of a lifetime, thanks again so much guys! 100% recommended!!!

I stayed in a private room with my boyfriend and we really liked it. Bathrooms and kitchen are shared but they were very clean and a good way to meetother travelers. It is also located in a safe neighboorhood which is a plus and it is close to a few nice restaurant!

The stay in this hostel was awesome. Clean, with a well equipped kitchen, lots of spots to chill and enjoy the beautiful view over the city. They even have a nice area for co-working with very comfortable chairs! 
In the hostel there’s also a dance school which offers the best bachata classes of the whole city. They also organize, once a week, an international exchange night so you can practice your Spanish and meet local people. 
Everyone of the staff is super nice and always happy to help you! 
Boris, the owner, will give you the best tips to discover Cali and its salsa culture.

Best stay in the city! 

This is how a hostel is meant to be. The kitchen and the sitting area are so very nice and in a good place that it is easy to meet other guests. I felt really at home and I especially loved the rooftop with hammocks where you can overlook the city Cali and the mountains. I planned to stay only 3 nights but I stayed almost 3 weeks.
The rooms are spacious and the dorms give you enough privacy. Kitchen is well equipped, there is a small store just in front of this hostel where you can buy your food and beer, there is a coffeeshop next to this hostel and some 200 meters away there is a square with different restaurants, you can walk to that place safe even at night. The staff here is great!! I got a lot of information and the where really helpful. As I stayed a long time I asked them several times to clean my room and give clean sheets, no problem at all. I even went to the salsa club with the receptionist and some friends of here, I night to remember, thank you so much! That was so much fun.

The prices are really good for what you get here.

There are free salsa classes when I stayed here. That was really good. I understand that they gonna make the salsaschool more professional, and that is a very good idea.

I love this place

Best deal in Cali. Unbelievably low prices for a private room; you can barely get a bed in a 12-bunk hostel dormitory for the same price! The hostel is beautiful, clean, and has lots of open space. There's a terrace and several common rooms which serve as great places to hang out. Also, the kitchen is the best I've ever seen in a hostel: clean, with good quality pots, pans, plates and utensils. The owner Boris is a great guy and always attentive to your needs. If you're like most visitors to Cali, you'll want to check out the dance scene and this is the perfect place to do it; there's a studio in the hostel, and there are several group classes going on during the week, available again for insanely low prices (6.000, or about $2 per class or 10.000, a little over $3 for both classes). Boris also offers private lessons, and can tell you about all of the best places to go out and practice your new moves! If you're looking for an economic option with a great atmosphere, this is the place for you!

Best Hostel in Cali!

I stayed for two nights. The price is not high and the rooms are big and clean. Boris (the owner) is a nice person and can give you recommendations and tips for travelling in Cali. You also have a shared kitchen and you can buy and cook anything you want. There is only option for private rooms. Some with private bathroom and shower and some with shared.
