My highlight about this place was the night game drive, I LOVED IT.
We had such an amazing experience staying here. The Food was delicious, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Thank You all for ensuring me and my friends had a memorable experience!!!

Personally, I enjoyed and became more interested with Ikoma Wild Camp as it brings a lot more compared to most camps in Tanzania. Services like walking safaris, night game drives, foods and drinks  are quite an experience.

The staff members are smart and very punctual to meet their customer's needs with beautiful smile on their faces.

The experience here was next level. The staff hospitality was super awesome. Don’t miss out on Night game drive as you can be lucky to find some animal activities you have never seen before. Free WiFi in all the tents and huts makes it easy to work early in the morning before going out for game drives. Kudos Ikoma wildcamps.

Couldn’t think of anywhere more comfy and relluctant!!! I had the best stay with the generous and caring staffs. The food was amazing, the rooms neat and the bed was really comfy. The morning view was breathtaking I can’t find words to describe how beautiful it was there

Our night game drive was the best! We saw lions in their honeymoon phase and it was the best experience and unforgetable. 

I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Our time at Ikoma Wild Camp was wonderful. The views from the lodge are stunning and you can see some giraffes, zebras and antelopes. At night we heard a lion roar, the thunderous sound is awe inspiring, however we still felt safe because there are guards around the clock.
Dining was great, because of the rustic ambience, delicious food and wonderful service. Our room was kept clean and the fresh linen felt so good. 
Staying in comfort deep in the bush was our dream come true.

We had an amazing stay at Ikoma Wild Camp. The cabins were totally outstanding, carefully detailed with rustic furniture and African animal print. They have carefully thought of everything that a guest would need in the bush. Sleeping in these cabins with lions roaring from nearby bushes was a new experience for us. 
The staff were friendly and warm to us. Charles the manager would come to check on us as he made his rounds around the camp. His concern for our comfort was very much appreciated. 
Food was exceptionally good, the chef was particularly nice to my wife who is a lactovegetarian, preparing her meals differently than getting it from the buffet.
Given another opportunity we would have a longer stay. 

The tented camp is one of the nicest places that we stayed in in Tanzania. The tent rooms are neat and have all the amenities that we would have wanted on safari. We loved the food, particularly breakfast and dinner which were fab! The packed picnic box prepared by the chef was great too. We were struck by the wonderful hospitality extended by staff. They were so friendly and genuinely caring to the kids.
We had a great time on this unforgettable family trip.

When we arrived there, we were very kindly welcomed with a welcome drink and stayed in a super tent which was beautifully prepared with a large bathroom and shower. The food and the service were also very good. When it gets dark, a security guard escorts you to the restaurant and back again. The food was good. All in all, expectations exceeded by far.

Ultimate Camping Experience  

Amazing Camp

We received a very warm welcome and some lovely juice upon arrival.
We loved our spacious 'tent' with 4 poster bed. The view across the plane was amazing! 
When it's dark you need to be escorted to the restaurant. You'll have a choice between a meat or a vegetarian dish. The first night, we felt the portion was  small, whereas the second evening we had a big portion of meat.
Breakfast boxes were provided with lots of food to keep us going during the day, which was good as we didn't want to pay £12.50 per person for a packed lunch. 
Please note that you'll have to pay £2.50 tax per person per night and an additional 3% for your stay if you want to pay by card. It isn't a cheap stay, but staying in the Serengeti will cost you a lot more.

Top hotel with unique experience factor!!!

It was everything we wanted and much more. Set on the fringes of Serengeti close to Grumeti river it was perfect for early morning and late afternoon game drives. We saw lots of animals without having to go very far from camp. 
The key selling point are the wonderful people that run the camp. They made us feel wanted and special during the three days we were there. The food was also great and filling. Being a vegetarian, I was happy to get delicious options. 
We loved the raised tent rooms which allowed us to enjoy sundowners from our deck.


This is a great place worth every penny

We stayed here for 2 nights during trips to the Serengeti and quite frankly would have rather spent more time here than the Highview. The tented camps, location,  all staff,  food and atmosphere were excellent but I have awarded the place 4 stars because simply put there is less visible wildlife around the camp compared to wild camps which are actually inside the Serengeti. Seeing a baboon trying to steal food from the kitchen or the bright eyes of a waterbuck when luminated by a torch doesn’t equate to lions, zebra and giraffes walking past your tent at night in the Serengeti. Maybe all my whining from the disappointment of Highview scared the animals off, …but…. There are lots of wildlife to see in good quantities driving to and from the lodge. Would I return… definitely.

Well worth the visit

We have been regular guests at Ikoma Wildcamp every time we are in Serengeti that it now feels like home. We stayed for a couple of nights during the recent safari and it is still the ideal place to stay while while exploring the Grumeti area.
It was an absolute pleasure to be hosted by familiar faces who knew what and how we liked.
