Riad Louna

We went there with my sweetheart last summer and we spent 4 very pleasant days. I decided to talk about it before the summer to share with future travelers from Fès and because we had found it through this site. The location is perfect! Two steps from the main streets, Pharmacy and Taxi nearby. The rooms are very good (individual bathroom and air conditioning were required). It is true that there is only one room in the Ryiad that does not have a good individual bathroom (you will only get through two attempts to get to the corridor) but those who have found it should probably see it in the morning. Do not rely on the comments that warmed the small imperfections. We arrived there very quickly! We had to get back to the guards of the interior! We were prepared for the trip, but the staff of the Ryiad had a very pleasant meal and if you hadn't come back to the hotel, we would have had a very pleasant meal and if you hadn't come back to the hotel! It's a great place to visit Fès.

My friend and I stayed in this Riad in November for a few nights and it was great. We were upgraded upon arrival and Mustapha was so kind throughout our stay. He was helpful, friendly and attentive. This Riad it was super close to the Blue Gate which was a great location. Awesome roof as well :)

Awesome staff, great location

This Riad is located very close to the Blue Gate, a convenient area for restaurants. The courtyard is beautifully decorated, unfortunately our room, with shared bathroom wasnt the nicest, neither is the bathroom. The walls are also very thin and noise is a problem. The staff were very helpful however

Nicely Located

We booked a taxi with my name by email and they confirm it and we reached there, there was nobody (and no one explaines for us why not), so we a conventional taxi to medine, and there we should to pay one more guy to take our luggage and show us  when this riad is located. But for our surprise, when we reached the Riad, they said had a problem with our room and they MOVE us to another Riad. 

Unprofessional! 

We stayed for 5 nights in this riad. The structure is very beautiful and authentic thanks to the poor maintenance of the common places and the rooms (disconnected bricks, docking that loses, very cold in the room as the heat pump didn't work....) our room also smelled of sewerage. Service non-existent as two nice guys took care of everything, not even a hello at ns departure.

Authentic wrongdoing

Throughout our stay in Morocco this dish has been the worst in terms of quality price.We paid 78€ for two nights and the room was a mess.We didn't have wifi and there was a lot of noise.We had a school that at 8am sang songs as if it were inside the room.The bathroom was shared and left a lot to be desired (photo attached).

Too expensive for what it is.

The Riad is very well located. We parked the car nearby and (after a good wait) someone from the Riad came to pick us up. The reception was not pleasant. Ironies of bad taste and a lack of general respect, unusual for Morocco. The absence of the owners was immediately noticeable. The rooms were not very clean. My friends had a Junior Suite in the RdC with an acceptable SdB. Our room on the second floor looked a little improvised. The SdB was below the acceptable standard. A shower without curtain flooded the whole room if used and a toilet without an option to lay anything. Conclusion: the next step is the minimum and the price is right. In winter, perhaps the rooms in the RdC are the best when the owners are in service.

A Riad too recommended in guides

It is well located and well located for reference and don't get lost in the streets of Fez very close to the blue gate where the taxis stop you, the Riyadh is charming, although the areas are a little older, it has 3 terraces in one of them serving you breakfast that is quite good, the staff is nearby, and you won't have any problem in what you need friendly and serviced, we laugh quite a bit, recommended.

Excellent stay!!! Beautiful welcome by mustapha and jallal thank you again for your smile and good mood!!! The location of the riad is in the heart of the medina near the bad boudjoul door and museums and medersas!!! The room is right for the price with a copious lunch!! We highly recommend it!!!

Super riad louna in the imperial city of Fès!!!

Enchanting little Riad near the edge of the Medina. When we arrived in our car, we felt overwhelmed by the bustle of the city. It wasn't hard to find the Riad on foot, and the staff helped us not only park our car, but brought our bags in as well. The staff was very helpful all around and brought us tea in the afternoon (we specifically asked for this), interfaced with porters/tour guides, helped us find particular shops. Our room was right off the courtyard and well appointed. American/European travelers should know to bring your own shampoo/conditioner/body wash (there are two unmarked bottles next to the shower, but I don't know what's in them. Nearby shops do sell these things if needed.) and be prepared to wash using a hand-held shower wand, rather than having a shower head. Also, any gluten-free people should know that the breakfast is entirely versions of bread products. This is not the most high end establishment, but if you are looking for a homey, yet elegant spot in the medina, this is it.
