The rooms are almost all with a small private garden, nice rooms, a small swimming pool and free massages on reservation.

August in Bali

We stayed here at Christmas time, we met our friends from Singapore (they stayed at a different resort).  The resort did a special Christmas dinner for us, and had the kids come up from Ubud to do a traditional dance show.  The villas are a bit far away from city center, but it's on a rice paddy, and we loved having massage outside in the rain.  They had a shuttle run us into to town any time we wanted to come, and the hotel helped us arrange anything we wanted to do.  Love it.  Highly recommend.

hotel run down.Fortunately amazing staff to make it better.Pictures totally not up to date on expedia website.Swimming pool non existent, etc...

Stayed on 16 - 18 Dec 2016 with my wife and 1 year old baby daughter..Main pool was under renovation and its area is poorly maintained..Stayed at a 1 room pool villa..Private pool is just ok..Expect crawlies up to your bed..End up buying my own insect repellant..Layout had many cracked edges..My daughter was unfortunate to trip my and fell on one exactly at her face..Leaves her a scratch mark on her face..Asked for an adaptor at one of the night just to be told that i will get it only on the morning..Far from ubud market..Driver is good..Offered a tour for free to the padi rice terrace and kluak coffee..Always on time..Staffs are all great..Its just that the place needs an upgrading..Unsafe for kids..Overall i think its not worth the stay

Not as i expected

Nice villa with great service. Downside was its in the jungle and the room had mozzies and gecko in it. It was in the middle of nowhere and far from town. Some things in the room were broken like the safe and lights and also the timber on the bedding.

Nice villa but bad.

Hotel amenities not in good condition, kitchen always run out of something for your meal, and what they didn't run out of, they over-cook it or burn it. The bacon and ham for breakfast was like biltong. Cleaners need some serious training too.

Everything is great, just the restaurant could serve better size meals as we thing they were really tiny.

Nice hotel, love the private villa with pool.

We were staying in the villa 'Manggis', which is a beautiful villa with a swimming pool. Everything is level equipment, we lacked almost nothing, if I can afford it in order to reach perfection, I should have provided a place to lay the suitcases. We tested the restaurant which is very good, we had a warm welcome from Nophie (sorry for the spelling). I just regret that there is no breakfast buffet formula. The restaurant room overlooks the rice paddies, beautiful where we feel unburdened, it is nice to see the children playing in the river.

a long stay

Very good hotel, we spent 4 nights there in three different rooms... because ours was not available the night we arrived we were staying in a standard room the first night. The next day we had the room we had reserved (with private pool). The third night, there was a gecko in our room (these animals are very noisy!) and the staff were unable to find it, so we changed the location again. Having tested 3 different rooms, they are all in the spacious and comfortable room, the private garden with large pool is very nice. The staff is very hospitable and very kind. The breakfast is excellent, with a very beautiful view over the rivers.

Total expenditure

Not luxurious as advertised. Could not sleep well. Disturbed and inconvenienced by wildlife and traffic consistently.30 minutes from ubud.
