Probably the worst place we have stayed in bali and surrounding areas. You can get a way better place for the same price if not cheaper.. Our shower was broken and we had to hold the shower head up ourselves while showering, they also have only salt water to shower with, and the “fresh water” at the other basin smells like sewage water. The bathroom was not cleaned at all, and the window of the bathroom was out so there was just a massive open hole in the wall where all the mosquitoes can come in. They show sheets/duvet on the photos but you get a fleezy blanket which is a little scratchy and also quite cold if you have the airconditioner on ( in Bali you cannot sleep without it).The staff was really friendly when we checked in and very helpful, we booked for 4 nights but after the first day cancelled the booking, we tried to reach the staff the day we checked in to tell them about the room and that so much is broken/not working and that we were unhappy but they were nowhere to be found or reached except for a number you can call, which is difficult if you have a data only sim card. When we checked out the following morning after booking.com confirmed the cancellation the staff was not aware of it and phoned the owner who then informed him after we had to explain the situation again. The same staff that checked us in so helpful and friendly suddenly changed to a very rude person and made us feel extremely unwelcome. 

Only the rooms are finished and the rest of the property is basically mud and building materials which is not a deal breaker if the room was up to standard. Would not recommend this place

Won’t recommend at all

Nice guesthouse just off the main strip near the ferry terminal. Lots to eat and drink nearby. Tasty breakfast included with the room. Staff was incredibly helpful and kind. Only downside was cool water in showers. Would recommend.

Good location, Excellent Staff

Since I arrived and was pleasantly surprised by a fresh fruit juice, the head of the establishment asked me to come to the reception and took the time to explain all the facilities on the island to me and inform me about the things to do to entertain.

Super host.

Pros

1. Rooms are big enough. Beds are comfortable. Good A/C
2. Located a few minutes from the beachfront.
3. Good price. 
4. A supermarket with beer, water, food etc very close to it.

Cons:

1. When we arrived we had to wait for 1.30 hour because there was nobody there despite providing our arrival time. Finally we managed to ask to other hostel that was close by, they called someone who called someone, who called someone and finally a guy showed up and we were able to check in but it was a lot of wasted time not knowing exactly what to do. So everything impressed as a lack of a minimum organisation. 
2. There is no hot water so you have showers with cold water all days. 
3. There is no ceiling for the toilets in the upper floor rooms, something I really don't understand yet. This plus cold water is something not too nice. 
4. The owner is never there and in fact most of the time there is nobody in the reception desk so anytime you need something is very hard to find someone to help you and the people who are there are anything but helpful. 
5. The guy who is on charge of the place told us that it was possible to pay with credit card but the truth is that it is not possible at all. So when we tried to pay he started to beat around the bush, talk about all kind of inconveniences to pay with credit card have and also said maybe the credit card had a problem, something absolutely false because I used that card during all the trip and did not have any kind of problem.
5. Finally, and that is why I am writing a bad review, I would like to point the surly attitude of the guy there. We asked him for a late check out (only one hour more) and he denied to me. When I was out he changed his mind and asked for 50.000 rupiahs more to check out later but I was with all my luggage packed. So two different answers for the same question depending if he could take the most of it or not. 
When we were paying cash after going to the ATM the guy treated us with an absolute lack of minimum respect, without T-shirt and burping during all the time we were paying him. Disgusting.

So, to sum up. Good place to go if you don't want to spend too much money but expect many negatives aspects as the ones I described before.

Clean room and big bathroom, friendly staff, the wifi was good, we had delicious banana pancakes for breakfast. Short walk to the beach where the bars and restaurants are. Would definitely recommend :)

Nice

Nice rooms and okayish breakfast but the houserules are a joke. We requested room 5 because friends of us told us it was a nice one. So everything is fine, we move in, spend a night. Next morning suddendly a guy from the hostels knocks on our door and tells us we have to move the room. The reason: someone else requested the same room for this days night.
We ask if the new guests can't just take a look at the room next door first because it's exactly the same and maybe it would have been fine for them.
But no, we were told that we either move or had to check out immediately. So still half asleep anf in pjs as we were, we carried all our stuff to a room looking exactly the same. Ridiculous! 
So you can request a room but as soon as someoneelse wants it they'll kick you out.

Also breakfast only until 10am so if you're here to party not a suitable time, at least to me. But on the other hand the mosque next door is so loud you might not get much sleep anyways.
The neighbourhood of the hostel looks terrible. 
There's no warm water in the shower.
Very poor wifi.

All in all, I will not stay here again. 

Especially not for 300.000 IDR.

Ridiculous Houserules

Little homestay about 5 minutes from the main harbour but close to other nice restaurants. The rooms are really clean and a good size. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were so helpful and friendly. 

Clean and nice homestay 

When everything arrives you expect less than a clean, fragrant and cozy place! And instead... it is just like that. I had imagined a bad place and had to believe it again (luckily)! Good location compared to the beach and especially compared to some real Italian food (La Dolce Vita)! Here too very kind. Super recommended!

That's amazing!

Great stay at Coral Voice homestay!! We were in a high-rise bungalow, big room, big bathroom with fresh water! Super service and good atmosphere! The only drawback: the presence of the mosque not far away that woke us up in the morning!

That's great.

The place is spacious, with a bathroom also large and a shower designed with very good stones. It has air conditioning, which is fundamental with the heat available. There are only 2 bedrooms in this hotel (they have a coral voice 1 which has more rooms) so there is virtually no noise than those on the street. The staff is friendly and bring you breakfast (included in the price) to the room. Sometimes they are not immediately available but if you wait a while you will find them and help you.
