Gili Trawangan

We went to Gili for diving and decided to choose one of the cheaper options, so we just ended up here. I think Alexyane Paradise Bungalows was more than what you actually paid for - we spent 11 days for next to nothing. 
I see some of the other reviews complaining about the fact that it didn't have any warm water, but I think they need to be reminded where they are in the world. :) I didn't really miss it at all.

The rooms were nicer than anticipated, big enough for the two of us and cleaned as often as we wished. They had the cosy bungalow-feeling I wanted, dark woodworks and the open bathroom solution - there is something really cool about sun and palmtrees in the bathroom! Also no bugs at all in there to my big surprise and joy. Also the AC saved us from the warmest days.
The rooms is close to the city centre but its not going to keep you awake.The thing thats going to keep you awake are the mosques (you can hear the prayers all over the island) but again, remember where you are.

But one of the best things about Alexyane was the man that took care of us the entire stay. Everyday he would come with fresh lombok coffee and homemade delicious (!) banana pancakes to eat on our porch. He was always around if we had any questions or requests, and was such a nice humble man with a big smile.

I think the bungalows are perfect for young people thats not dependent on warm water and other luxuries like that. We had a great time there!

100% great service!

Very basic but I needed a bed and they provided. Although I really wish I would have not been lazy and researched more. The last place I stayed in Gili T was super sick. I was like a king, and it wasnt so loud. The open showers are cool except you can hear everyone talking all the time :(

after one night near to the mosque in an other place in gili T, this hotel was amazing !
We had a problem one day, we change the date for our night with our fees and problem with the manager. Room clean, bathroom very amazing (no roof and trees in the shower :D ) air conditioning, wifi. No far to the "center" but enough far for sleep without noise. Only mistake in this paradise ... the service for the breakfast (but in the terrace on the room) a little too long ...

We first stayed here 3 years ago which we stumbled upon cause our original choice was booked. Ended up staying for 3-4 nights at the time just because we enjoyed it so much — awesome banana pancakes for breakfast, super friendly hosts, comfy beds... what’s not to like? We came back recently and while the hosts had changed, everything else remained and again, left us with great memories in Gili. We also did the snorkeling trip with them and they also took care of our laundry. Walkable to the beach and all the bars/club while still being quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. Definitely recommended!

Always our #1 stay in Gili

We were here for 12 nights and they were perfect. Spacious and absolutely clean bungalows, with air conditioning and perfectly functioning Wi-Fi! We were greeted by a wonderful staff... the guys here are exceptional, polite and courteous. Ali the best at all, always present and ready to advise you on what to do or what to visit, he was simply a golden boy! We recommend Oceane Paradise in full votes!!!

What a wonderful experience!

Great little bungalows with a beautiful outdoor shower and aircon. Super clean! We arrived without booking and ended up staying 5 nights. 

We got a nice pancake breakfast in the morning and the staff were lovely. 

I would recommend this place to anyone - what you get for your money is great (we paid about 250IDR with breakfast each night) and it's only 5 mins from the beach. They can also organise bikes for you and snorkelling tour for 100k which was also amazing!!

Beautiful hotel near everything but without the noise!

Essential but large bungalows... modest price compared to the rest of Gili trawangan... the finish wi sometimes goes slow and the shower and cold... good position... you do half way short walk and you're in the center!!! they rent bicycles for 50 rupees a day and wash your clothes in the laundry: 1kg of clothes for 25 rupees!!! The guy who runs it is very kind and available... All in all, I highly recommend this place❤

Good for you!

Rooms are fine but there is no hot water.The air conditioning makes more noise than the Concorde.The location of the mobile area is fine.The staff is very friendly.They offer many services to hire and facilitate things.

Well without more.

We spent one night in this poor accommodation. There was a price agreed on of 400,000 IDR for a bungalow with air conditioning. Absolutely overpriced and unjustified for this rather simple accommodation. At night it turned out that neither the air conditioning was functioning reasonably nor was there hot water, which is simply not right for this price. When we informed the staff that we would pay a lower price because of these inconveniences and would also be checked out, we were threatened by one of the men and treated fairly badly. So we paid the agreed price too high and sought the wide as soon as possible. Really not to recommend.

Oh, no, not at all!

We had booked two bungalows for four press and on our arrival only one of the two was ready impossible to find another accommodation between the two homestays and when visiting the place: a nightmare the sheets were dirty, no towel, the shower water was not flowing but more than all the dirt and incompetence of the staff were very heavy we decided to leave the place and there the manager came out with a huge kitchen knife in us threatening to die if we left.... we were very shocked and called the island security who was having fun with the situation with the glamorous result we were forced to pay a large sum of money to leave and we found ourselves in an actual apartment in a major island where we were looking for a number of unsanitary incidents and we have already made a lot of recommendations to make this very well and we have been very careful with all of these other incidents and we have been very well noted by all of our travellers who have been very well and very well
