Hotel Turey is in an upscale location in the capital, within very short walking distance to restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacy, banks, cleaners and a gym. The price is very economical and if you're not looking for a luxury hotel, but rather a safe clean and convenient place to stay, this one does the job.

Excellent location and affordable price.  Extremely clean room. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Hotel Turey always offer a comfortable and satisfying experience, it is very economical and is walking distance to everything you need (i.e. supermarket, laundromat, gym, banks, restaurants, pharmacy, etc). The staff are friendly and they remember you if you stayed their previously.

Great location.  Close to many restaurants, pharmacy,  supermarket,  bakery.  One block to olimpic center . The pool was clean and big.Clean everything.  I will back

Turey Hotel always provides good service and is my first option when reserving business acommodations.

I loved the pool, it's pretty deep, but also big and fun!

Great price for the location.

We were skeptical about staying at this hotel when we read the reviews before booking. However, considering the proximity to the location of the event that we would be attending everyday, we decided to book the first 3 of the 15 nights we would be spending in Santo Domingo at this hotel so that we could do our own assement. After the 2nd night, with my wife's approval, we extended our stay to 15 days. Below are the reasons for the extension.

1. Great location considering the proximity to the Estadio Olímpico Félix Sánchez we had events at, a block to a supermarket for shopping for food, great coffee shops, fast food places to get in and out, and even a few nice bars and clubs
2. We did not only feel safe in the hotel, but in the entire environment as we strolled to and fro the stadium in the afternoon and evenings
3. The room comes with a perfect little kitchen, medium size fridge, electric stove, utensils & plates for home cooking and dining experience. We felt at home as we love home made meals.
4. Also, in the room is a dinning table with 2 chairs, 2 medium size bed side tables, a dresser, a full size closet and a TV. We had no issues with the TV throughout
5. The Bed is very comfortable with nice pillows which we enjoyed till we left
6. Free WiFi, initially had issue with the connection but Emmanuel helped to address the issue and we had great connection thereafter
7. Language barrier was broken with Google Translate app on mobile phones that all the receptionist - Ezequiel, Emmanuel etc. used with us throughout our stay.
8. Extending the duration of our stay after the first 2 nights was made easy by Emmanuel despite the online "sold out" message
9. Despite our selection to pay onsite, we were able to pay with credit card
10. I initially thought only cold water was available in the bathroom, but my wife who is smarter than me figured out the hot water
11. The AC in our room worked so well that we felt like not leaving the room for the scorching heat outside
12. All the hotel staff including the Janitor, despite not speaking English, were very helpful at making our stay there enjoyable

The crack in the roof of the bathroom area of the room (possibly due to the age of the building) should be repaired urgently before it gets bad.

Would definitely return as long as the management and staff keep the good work going!

Turey is situated in a convenient location in downtown Santo Domingo that is walking distance from supermarkets, restaurants, banks, a laundromat and a gym. It is also minutes away from several malls. The price is very economical and the rooms are spacious. There is also free parking if you rent a vehicle.

Great for business trips or visiting family

one of the best Aparta hotel I have experience its very clean the staff very polite in the center of everything plenti of restaurants and supermarket at walking distance I loved it felt very safe in this area i like the fact that has its own kitchen and your able to cook or can eat at the restaurants around there I truly recommend

My second visit here, only 17 rooms. Quiet, clean and located in safe Naco area, 1 block to Centro Olympico. My room has a decent kitchen...the are 3 great super markets within a short walk, great gyms, and multiple restaurants in the neighborhood. Excellent place for an extended stay. Staff is nice and efficient but don't speak English. Only problem... this is a cash only establishment, no cards.

I have a different perspective on rooms when I travel. I notice first how clean a room is, not it condition because this hotel is an older model with gas range and full size refrigerator.  The maids do a thorough cleaning of the rooms. The next thing I consider is the location and this is a wonderful location for an average cost hotel within walking distance to anything you need. There are great clubs and restaurants within a block. The only draw back you pay in cash other than that enjoy your stay. Very helpful staff.

FANTASTIC LOCATION

This was my 2nd time, since 2007 and just as the same, the staff, the hotel and the room were as expected. Friendly, reliable, spacious and comfortable. The property is perfectly located in the nearest outer location of downtown. Many malls, restaurants, supermarket and pharmacies close by. Very quiet to rest during the day and night, the street is relatively frequently used by traffic but in the room you get your quiet rest. Definitely recommended.

Comfy Perfect size Aparta/Hotel

My first stay in this hotel and I will go back. My rooms was on the 3rd floor with two double beds and a full equipped kitchen. Good WiFi in the room, TV with local and international channels. Peaceful and clean, staff attentive to my needs.
The location is perfect, with restaurants, grocery store, within walking distance.
Rates are very reasonable.

Clean, quiet, reasonable

Excellent stay for 7 nights, multiple rooms. Well equipped apartments, spacious enough for several people to meet around the dining table. Beds were okay, quiet enough. Pool was refreshing and staff was friendly and helpful. Many restaurants around, supermarket very close and mall just a coup,e blocks away. Rooms could use a little updating but were a great value.

We had a studio with 2 beds. Beds were comfortable, a basically equipped kitchen with a good size fridge.A nice pool and a quiet upscale neighborhood with lots of restaurants nearbyVery secure.Excellent value. I would stay again.
