Please do not stay here untill it's being offered for free, because any penny that u pay for this hotel is completely worthless. Pathetic staff, pathetic food, pathetic ambience, pathetic hospitality.

Very sad and bad experience

I had a worst experience.The manager is a cheater.Rooms are full of Lizards.They were demanding extra money just because the bed sheet became dirty after two days of stay. I was about hit the manager.

Extremly Bad

Old and needs lot of maintenance. 

This hotel is on the CT Road and around 3 kms from the buzz area of  Swargdwar beach and around 4 kms from Shree Jagganath Temple and around 2 kms from railway station. The surrounding has few well known temples of Sonar Gourango, Beedi Hanuman, ISKCON and few others. 

Good number of veg and non veg food options are around, also you find some shops for daily needs and travel agents are everywhere.

Let's jump to the reception, good and decorated. Also the entrance looks good. The beauty ends right here and starts a old and ordinary look. The lift is from some local company and i never used fearing the safety norms followed by the elevator manufacturer. The narrow corridor all around with long stretches gives a very pale feeling. The rooms have everything but closer look makes you realize that most of the stuff are either broken or too old or too dirty to use (e.g minibar was so dirty that I refused to put water for cooling and probably non-functional. The wardrobe looks old and useless as there were no hangers or shelfs.

The washroom glass was so dirty that you can't see your own face properly, leave shaving or anything else, the shower separators were old wood frames and looked bad. Geyser was good and worked properly.

The worst part is air-conditioning. Simple word it's useless and doesn't work. Needs replacement or repair. Hotel staff refused and behaved badly when complained, however, the hotel owner intervened and electrician was arranged and fault was rectified but still it's no match to the humid conditions of Puri. Also no a/c on backup, no power means no ac,this was my first experience in any hotel. 

The power backup is also a big joke. They wait for 10 mins before starting as power may come back, I mean that's nice for someone's house not when you have over 30 guests in your property. 

Another let down is breakfast. Complimentary breakfast doesn't mean you are doing a favor to someone. You have to choose between upma,veg sandwich or poori. Also you can't have a second serving, that's chargeable, this is blasphemy.

Neither it falls in budget category or a value for money category. The hotel should have an maintenance first and then accept guests, else folks should stay away from it.

One honest confession from the hotel staff is there is no sea view and it's partially true, you just get a faint glimpse through other buildings and trees and that too from only a few rooms.

The restaurant along the property doesn't get any foot fall apart from guests staying in the hotel and there is a weird rule, you can't buy from outside and bring inside the hotel room and eat, can you believe the reception for actually warned me that I should not be outside food inside my room.

Worst hotel

Very spacious and airy rooms. Air conditioning cooling good. Car parking will be for maximum of 4 cars only. Food quality good. They have mini refrigerator and LCD Tv's in all the rooms. Behaviour of all staffs are good.
