Miray Hotel

I was in Miray Hotel over a very hot spell (up to 51 degrees), but had a great 10 days there, It is the wonderful friendly , helpful, interested and knowledgeable staff which made it special, most of whom spoke excellent English. Whatever the issue, they would try to help. They were all charming with kids too. The building is in good order and kept spotlessly clean both inside and around the pool. Bar and dining tables were never left cluttered or sticky; high hygiene standards. The bedroom was simply and tastefully decorated and furnished, with a small balcony secure enough for kids. Bed comfortable and the room (and adequate sized shower room) was cleaned and changed daily at convenient times. Most importantly the Air Conditioning was strong and effective yet could be made whisper - quiet at night for sleeping. So worth paying the extra for! Breakfasts were interesting and varied daily - cooked and Turkish both,The pool was always cool, clean and chlorinated and plenty of sunbeds were always available. The location is so convenient - I timed 3 minutes to the beach and the lively bars and restaurants are in the same street and the main street is next up where the shopping was fascinating - and a very friendly experience.
