We’ve just had a 4 night stay at Golden Key Kartalkaya and we thoroughly enjoyed it. 

It is a small hotel, in comparison to other hotels in the area, but we thought it was a great advantage. It was peaceful and tranquil, even at busy times. Restaurant has a nice ambiance. In other hotels in the region, dining is generally about negotiating big crowds over the buffet spread. It was so different here, we had very pleasant breakfasts and dinners during our stay. 

The staff were very friendly and attentive. Hotel in general and rooms were kept very clean. 

The hotel runs a very efficient shuttle. Ski passes are provided by the hotel for your stay, either for Kartal or Doruk slopes, which we thought was a great bonus! We used both, which gave us the opportunity to enjoy the whole ski resort. 

I also want to mention a big positive for me: 
My son - 11 years old-has peanut allergy. When reported to the reception, the hotel kindly stopped serving anything with peanuts during our stay. Much appreciated! 

Overall we had a wonderful stay, and thanks to all staff for making it happen!!!



Excellent boutique ski hotel

The hotel is situated at one of the most popular ski facilities around Bolu, Turkey. Being one of the new facilities at the destination, the hotel keeps to be trendy for the guests. They give free of charge ski passes for two different parts of the mountain. 
The check in and out speed is efficient. Free wifi increases the satisfaction where on the hand the connection speed is awful unfortunately. 
The room is fabulous, big and clean. The amenities are enough for all needs. 
The restaurant serves for all tastes.
I suggest for all occasions. 

Very good ski resort

This was a an excellent vacation. The spa is great, the foods are delicious and the hotel it self is very child friendly. If i have to find one very small thing it is not ski in and out , but the shuttle is always ready to take you . You should difinitly come and stay i give not 5 but 10 stars 👍👍👍👍

Best hotel by far in kartalkaya

What a disappointing experience we had from the moment we stepped into the hotel till the moment we left. Lack of quality in the restaurant and the food being unhygienic and with a boring taste, the lack of options (Salmon or Chicken), dry salad bar, rotten fruits...
Bolu is famous for its chefs and good quality of cooking but Golden Key is nowhere near it. 
The rooms need updating. The cleanliness was terrible; it was very dusty and I asked it to be cleaned but it did not make a difference... 
The staff is unenthusiastic and at the end, our stay in Golden Key was quite a disappointment. We ended up eating in other hotels and we will not be staying again.

If you're after a cost-cutting hotel (or "Chalet") Golden Key is perfect!

Everything is great here. Food (breakfast and dinner included), service, Bali massage, the outdoor jacuzzi.. obviously skiing is not Alp’s but if you have kids and you are  more into chilling it is perfect. Lift pass and transfer (you call the driver and he picks you up in 3-5 minutes) is included and the prices for renting skiis or boards are decent (2 people 140 euro for four days). 

Incredibly good! 

I had been to different ski resorts but this was the first in Kartalkaya. This place ıs a boutique hotel and it is the best in Kartalkaya. The reason I am saying this even I have not stayed in others in Kartalkaya as the other hotels are all old fashioned. Take a look at the pictures so you will decide
We spent two nights. The room was comfortable and cleanThe food was delicious
The ski center was helpful with material and shuttle servis
The staff was friendly
All you can expect from a good hotel
The only problem is we can not see the sun for 2 days. It could have been wonderful if I was able to take pictures in the sun in stead of blizzard and high winds
I will try to visit when the weather is sunny but still snowy

Stayed for 4 nights /HB.

Friendly/attentive staff & clean spacious rooms. Delicious meals; though we were on half board, didn’t go anywhere. Spa is definitely above the standard, quite pleased.

Slightly priced compared to other establishments in the area however well worth it.

Try going for a small hike with snow shoes with Ogan, nice experience.

Lastly, Kartalkaya is a small ski resort, slopes mostly suitable for beginners hence don’t set your expectation too high. 



Comfortable stay 

One of the best chalet hotels in Turkey. The ambiance of the hotel is amazing. Spa and jakuzi is very enjoyable. The design is great.
Food is also very delicious.
There is a big library common room in hotel to spend time in the evenings.
You'd never regret to stay there.

Cool design

A good meal, in an open buffet for breakfast is not a very big choice, but everything is tasty and kind. A good 5-hour tea - very tasty pastries and cakes, all at home.. Separately I want to say about the service - no complaints! Service in a restaurant and bar is friendly, with a smile. A good spa where it's nice to spend time after skiing, only a few, complete absence of noise, which is extremely unpleasant during the procedure, because there is no possibility to completely relax, but it was a costly construction process under the control of the bus driver.
