I wanted time off from tech, work, family, people. life!....so my phone was in the safe the moment I got there! They arranged a pick up from the airport for 25e and I kept in contact with them via a what ap number which was super helpful. They also communicated with me via e-mail as soon as my booking was confirmed via agoda. Due to it being out of season (mid april), the place was so quiet. The weather was hit and miss so I just chilled with a book in my apartment or by the pool with a cardigan on or went for a local coffee / walk. The staff were so lovely esp the breakfast staff, what a great way to start the day. The breakfast is a mixture of small things like honey, cheese, bread, a boiled egg, chocolate spread, olives which is a nice change to a full English or fatty croissant! There was a limited menu (out of season) which can be paid at the end of your stay by signing as you would in a hotel. One evening I had the fish which was fresh and served with a delicious potato salad. There are lots of restaurants on the beach front which is a few minutes walk away. I personally liked the basic cafe where the locals go which was at the end by the boats. The meatballs and coffee were fab. My apartment was so clean, new and had everything I wanted, esp as I stayed in a lot; a kettle, hob, fridge, freezer. You may want to bring tea bags, sugar etc to save you a trip to the supermarket. After three days housekeeping comes which is nice and an extra nice touch is that you get a new glass bottle of water delivered to your door every day. There’s a good sized balcony where you can hear a few times a day a very loud speaker where prayers are played. Cats will come in via the balcony so if you don’t like cats this part of turkey is not for you, they are everywhere and very persistent as are the dogs on the beach. Fortunately no one is cruel to them or think to shoo them away from you unless you ask when you are eating. I was happy with the out of season price of the accommodation even if it wasn't sunny as I just wanted a break, peace and calm. Nightlife and shops are just a taxi and bus ride away I heard they were both great. I would highly recommend the Dorman suites. It is a clean, tidy, safe and beautiful place. One word of disappointment which is nothing to do with this hotel, re excursions / day trips. I went to a bigger hotel down the road to have a massage which was lovely. When I was booking, a lovely man named Bullent was sitting nearby booking people on day trips. I booked the lunch and boat trip for 8000L about £50. I thought that was an ok deal as it included lunch. I was really looking forward to this as it was the one thing I chose to do due to having great memories of a boat trip in Ölüdeniz about 20 years ago!...where we stopped off and the crew sparked up a bar b q, cooking delicious fresh chicken and fish with lots of salads with drinks flowing. Well this experience was really lovely in that the boat and the crew were so sweet but the food was a MASSIVE disappointment. The salads were tasty but there were only two and the chicken was a fried, reconstructed meat, piece of cardboard (think, a cheap large chicken nugget). I specifically asked the man when booking if I could have fish and he said no ‘ there is chicken and salad and unlimited drinks’. So I felt a bit duped as he really sold me on the lunch. I put this aside as the rest of the trip was really nice and the crew were super sweet. Me and the women I was with were famished when we got back and ordered a big dinner!
