A great location, located in the heart of the Danube Delta. We were impressed by the beauty of the places, but also by the quality of the services offered. We rented a house located in a more secluded area of the resort, so we had the peace of mind we wanted. The room was large and clean, well maintained, and so was the bathroom. Our towels were changed daily and the room was cleaned, also every day. Clean, cotton bedding, a large terrace outside with chairs and table. food, good prices, large and clean pool. Congratulations to the chef for all the dishes prepared for us! I visited the wine cellar, I recommend the Aligote, a kind of wine specific to dobrogea area. Many recreational places, volleyball court, tennis and football, chapel, children's adventure park, playground, beautiful gardens, mowing grass, many flowering roses, a pond where you can fish, provided you release the catch. And the gorgeous sunsets, enjoyed on the dock, with a prosecco.

Great food, great location

Great food, clean rooms, friendly staff, free and always availabe parking lots. The resort offers a very wide range of activities, it’s impossible you get bored. Oh, and the boat trips… the boat trips are AMAZING! As is the lanscape from the pool!

Perfect

Me and my girlfriend decided that we needed a break from our work schedule so we took a day off and we booked a whole weekend at the “Puflene Resort”. The moment you pass through the main gates of the resort, you realize that you are away from any city and you begin to get along with nature. It is a mixture of wildness and human comfort. On the one hand, you get to see nature in its amazing shape. On the other hand, although you are very close to nature, you feel like you don’t need much, because the resort comes very in handy with your needs. It is kind of a nice feeling, indeed. Right next to the parking spot, there is a big field where you can choose to play either tennis, football or basketball. When we arrived there was a group of children playing a semi-kind of football. They were very cute and, even though they didn’t look like to know much about what they were doing, they seemed to enjoy their time very much. So we went to the reception to take our room key. The ambience was clearly of a vacation-mood. The personnel was very appealing and friendly. They even came with us to show us where our room was located. The room was large, clean and I really enjoyed that the air conditioner was waiting for us turned on. The temperature was really high outside, but when we got into the chilly room, it was absolutely perfect. The bathroom was also spacious, clean and chilly. Then we went to the restaurant, because, obviously, we were really hungry. Both the food and the drinks were diversified and from what we’ve seen from other plates, they looked also delicious. We took some fish and chicken along with two types of sauces and some cooked vegetables. We didn’t expect that the portions were so big, we even struggled to finish. They were delicious, indeed, well cooked and very tasty. There are a lot of paths along the resort which you can take to admire the nature. We have even seen a swan very close to us. It was very very beautiful! There is a big pool outside where we relaxed, drank an orange juice and played in the water. The sunset from there is simply amazing. It makes you feel unique and appreciated. You just want to sit by the side of the pool and watch the amazement of the sun. We really loved walking along the resort in a relaxing, silently mood. The calmness and the green of the nature make you forget about your problems and daily routine. There is also a big tower, where you can climb and have a panoramic view. I honestly was not up for, because I am afraid of heights. There are also games in the nature for children and a few bungalows for those who want to live as close to the nature as possible. It takes some time to get used to the whole resort, since it is huge and you really have a lot to see. We enjoyed our time here and we didn’t even realize when the time passed. We will surely return!

When nature exceeds your expectations

The place is clean and nice but the pool water is cold.
We rented a bungalow with a double bed and one extra bed for the child but we receive e single beds instead.
Breakfast is average and the same everyday.
The restaurant food is good but expensive. The really good food needs to be ordered in advance.
We expected a little more "Delta" taste in the food but we received food that you can eat in any restaurant in Bucharest

Nice but not perfect

Resort is nice, rooms clean, everyday cleaning rooms, food not really for Danube Delta is more european, stuff is friendly. Not double bed, only 2 single bed. Can ask for baby crib of you need. Pool was fine, warm water and clean.

- pool not clean
- food is of poor quality
- boat trips not as advertised
- there is nothing to do in the evenings, the outside bar is closed by 10PM
- there are 2 bridges that goes nowhere and the wood is almost destroyed
- there is a not working SPA

Overall a poor experience and should not be advertised as a resort.

Not as good as adevertised

Fridge and bathroom were dirty it had 5 internet routers but none worked there bad bee hives and a birds nest on the balcony pool was dirty and found a old bandage in the corner of pool absolutely terrible

Very poor

I have visited the expensive location and indeed it has a beautiful and huge yard, with all the Danube Delta set and it's nice to take a walk around. Also the olimpic pool with a view to the lake is really nice and clean.
But! The room was nothing I have expected or paid for... The bathtub was licking, so, I had a permanent lake in the bathroom, the toilet seat was broken, so, it wasn't comfortable at all, the soap, shower gel and everything was really cheap, and nothing else was in the bathroom as a 4 stars Hotel would have.
The biggest surprise was the balcony, on which I have realised at some point that I had the main A. C. exterior unit for my room, but also for another 2 rooms. So, whenever those rooms were using the AC, all the noise was inside my balcony. Well... The conclusion is that for the money you pay, what you get is a mess, and I think that many people were having issues, as I also heard complaints while passing through the reception of the hotel.
I definitely not recommend the hotel!

Doesn't worth the price, poor quality of accommodation! 

The place itself is amazing .. the pool , the views , the resort is simply perfect .. very clean and green , but the rooms were horrible !! We had a bungalow and inside it smelled like there were rats inside ! We slept with the doors and windows open because the smell was awful !! We didn’t find bugs , and the beds were clean , no mold on the walls . At the restaurant , the food was good but very pricey . The breakfast was poor and the same every day .. the staff was ok . 
Definitely not worth the money ! 

 Not worth the money 

We stopped here to have lunch, but it turned out to be a bad idea after all. My husband received an almost charred fish, the marinated fish was an ordinary herring. The tables and chairs on the terrace were full of spider webs, the inside children playground was poor and the outdoor one unpolished. The outdoor swimming pool though out of 30 degrees was waterless ... All theese left us a bitter taste especially because the prices are not small at all, and tourists were. It's a pity for the landscape which is wonderful especially seen from up.
