Tohanu Vechi

We booked a room for one night. It was a pleasant stay and great staff. Rooms are clean with a tasteful design. Suitable for a short stay and also for a group or teambuilding. It has a nice courtyard to relax, winery and lounge. We will surely come back. 

This place gives you a very pleasent feeling thanks to the way it looks inside and the beautiful garden. 
The room and the bathroom are clean and spacious enough. I love how they managed to integrate the  wood details all over the building. 
They have a small spa center with sauna and jacuzzi where you can relax after visiting the surroundings. We went there with our bikes and if you want to go the National Park Piatra Craiului you have a 30 minutes ride. 
The staff is very friendly and professional.

Close to the beautiful park, Rasov , Brasov and Bran. the staff is very friendly and helps you with all your needs.

The place is very nicely and tastefully designed. The bookcase in the living room, the garden and the hallway are quite nice. The room we stayed was perfect less the matress, so the quality of the sleep i would say is poor.
Another downside is the fact that the kitchen closes at 8:00 pm?!!! And there are no possibilities yo eat very closely. The food is of poor quality and the portions are for kids like.
The waiter is a young lady which seems to be trained to say ,, it's not possible'' or '' we do not have it''.
Also, on the website and on the communication materials they say the breackfast is at 8. Well, we had it at 9!...

Briefly, is the matress , the food food and the service is solved, Tohanu Vechi can be an excellent choice!

Great stay

I've been with a group of 15 persons and had 6 of the 10 rooms available for one night. We also served one lunch and one dinner in their restaurant.

The good > The place itself is very nice and clean, with a cool garden & barbecue. The rooms are a little bit on the small side but pretty well finished and with nice bathrooms. On the lobby there's also a beautiful library and some tables where you can enjoy TV or various games. Breakfast was fresh and had good variety (didn't like the artificial orange juice though)

The bad > From day one of communicating with the manager (Manuela Coseac), it was a pain (exchanged a few emails for reservation). It was the same once we arrived there as she is slow in understanding some basic questions and has no charm at all (we felt like we were bothering her from her usual schedule). The restaurant is a no-go for lunch and dinner. They are not prepared for something else than breakfast. Serving was very slow and with many of the provisions being cold.
