Amazing views over mountainside farms and a clean and spacious room. It was perfect for a quick stay while visiting Bromo.  Only complaint is that the shower head was broken and the hot water ran out in seconds. Also the road is loud in the early morning as Jeeps go by, so not great if you’re a light sleeper. I would definitely stay there again

Beautiful views

Very dirty hotel and very noisy as it’s beside the road side. The wifi is not working at all. And the breakfast price is ridiculously on the very high side. For the price I think can get better condition hotel. Won’t recommend to stay here.

Very bad hotel

We get room 004 and that was close to the their warehouse and it was bad view. We asking for upgrade, and none available. Bed was good, hot water need a minute to get it. They have 2 floors, BRI atm. And they have lots of flies

Dissapointed

As part of our Java round trip, we stayed for one night at the SM Bromo Hotel. The hotel is not high-end, of course, but for one night it's perfectly fine. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable and the ceilings warm. The staff is very friendly and hardworking. The food at the restaurant tastes good and the prices are fair. And the location is just fine. For sunrise at Mt. Bromo, this is definitely the best starting point. If you forgot your jacket, you can even rent a freshly washed jacket. What is recommended is that you don't have your own. It's decent, especially in the morning. Cold is also the usual water temperature when you want to shower in the hotel.

It's perfectly fine.

We stayed in this place with a group of 14 people and it was nice. Rooms were comfortable and water was hot in the bathroom, as for conditions in this area is already a lot. We took the lunch as well in the restaurant but it's not worth for this price (60K) as it's just 3 choices buffet. Good for one night one the way to Bromo.

Comfortable stay near Bromo

The rooms are very simple. When you shower, you have warm water for about a minute, that's it. When you eat breakfast, you feel like the portions have been counted. You have to get up early to ride the jeep to Mt. Bromo. Unfortunately, until 11:00 p.m., there was a puppet theater in the neighboring building.

This is a very simple and useful term.

We were on a four-day round trip here one night, the other hotels were on top, but unfortunately we were dropped off in an annex without a sink in the room, all very spartan.

You can't expect too much

Stayed one night on a hike to Mount Bromo, cold, ugly, and poorly maintained rooms, bad breakfast, nice staff, but completely indifferent, obviously they know that customers are just overnight guests and take advantage of that, if you can go somewhere else.

Not to be repeated

There's no sound system in this hotel, which is the starting point for visiting the Bromo, so the few hours you'll have to sleep will be noisy.

No sounding system

The hotel is already a long way up the mountain near the entrance to the national park, so you can save some time in the morning if you want to be on the volcano by jeep to sunrise. It is clean and purpose-built. The small restaurant is only open during meal times (we were there in the off-season), the food is acceptable and cheap.
