This homestay is a dream. Just a three minute walk from the center but very quiet nonetheless. The staff is amazing and you can ask them anything. They have scooter and laundry service and can advise you the best beaches and trips whether it's for surfing, snorkelling, paragliding, windsurfing, ... 
my bathroom had hot water and breakfast was delicious.

The Honey Bee Homestay is always a great place to stay at Kuta Lombok.
 
All the room are clean with good A/C, Shower and Wi-Fi... Outside, after surfing, you can enjoy and chill in the cool Swimming Pool. The breakfast is also include in the price. Really cheap place but "Great Homestay"!!

But the best thing is the spirit of the familly and all the staff. Always smilly, friendly and very helpfull !! 
Many customers come back every years, it s not for nothing!!

If you're looking for a good place for this kind of money - stop looking. 
The surroundings are so relaxed. Chickens and dogs walking around, it's really quiet and the owners are so nice! The breakfast is good (you can choose between a pancake or an omelette), the room is spacious and clean and they have a laundry and motorbike service. They're located close to the beach and numerous restaurants/warungs/supermarkets. Also they provide you with a can of hot water 24/7 so you're able to make coffee and tea at any time of the day :) 

Honeybee is nice place and good service. Very good location for us who very first time come to Lombok island. Great budget homestay. We will come back to lombok soonest and we will stay at Honeybee for second time.

Perfect value for money

Nice Place

The room was cleaned just before we got in so it smelled very nice. But after we went for lunch it smelled a little moldy. Anyway the room was clean, staff was friendly and helpful they even helped me to bring my backpack to another hostel because my friend was leaving and I wanted a cheaper room for myself. There us coffee and tea the whole day. Lots of ants on the balcony though which is annoying but the location is good and the price is reasonable. I would stay here again if I'd come back. 

Great budget location

Stayed here one night only, and i must say it was enough. 

Very good location (50m from main road and 2min walk from nearest small supermarket), next to center, restaurants and beach but room was v minimal.

Double bed, fan and small mirror in main room. Bathroom had shower (only cold water) and toilet, no bassin. 

Breakfast is marked as "very good", this really got to me as all we were allowed was a pancake or omelet. Although it was tasty, it really wasn't much. However, they did offer tea and coffee by supplying us with a tray with tea and coffee sachets and a hot water thermo. 

As others have mentioned in their comments, they keep a porcupine in a v small cage, the poor thing looked terrified as we walked by.. 
Dogs were wandering around freely also and approached when we were having food or drinks. 

Didn't get much sleep in as the roosters are right next door and wake up around 4am. Dogs barking and late night music and chatting also prevented us from sleeping.

I can't say this is value for money as i think you can find much better for the same price!!

Cheap, good location but noisy, and v minimal!

Honey bee Homestay keeps a wild porcupine in a tiny cage. When asked to build a bigger more appropriate cage and explaining why this is important, I got laughed at. If you chose to stay here please encourage them to build a bigger cage (they will never release the poor animal). Maybe social pressure will help change their minds. 

The room (we stayed in room 10): clean, large, large beds, own tea/coffee, pancake breakfasts, room comes with a fan, cupboard, balcony, and private bathroom (no sink, cold water). Room gets pretty stuffy during the day as minimal airflow. 

In general our "block" was pretty noisy, including loud movies or music being played late at night, a couple having a very good time in room 11 at night and in the mornings (walls are pretty thin you can hear everything) and some Germans playing heavy metal at 7am. 

It's a good location though to Malika beach, restaurants and bars.
