Good location is 8 minutes walk from the centre and the beach. Pretty spacious room with mini fridge and a Clim. There was no boiler, which would have been a big plus. The bed was big but the spring mattress was a little too hard for us. A little noise in the evening coming from the street. The bathroom was right and with hot water. Unfortunately the shower gel and shampoo dispensers were empty. The hosts are charming and very discreet. The possibility of renting cheap bikes and a free bottle of drinking water in the garden. The price ratio is very good 👍

Good value for money

We decided to visit Gili T first just for one night. But my boyfriend was not feeling well and I asked via Email if it is possible to check in directly in the morning times. The host replied and they prepared the room for him. So he was able to sleep with AC after our arrival in a really comfortable bed. When we arrived we found a cozy place, nice designed and made with love.The host was really friendly and helpful. Best thing was she was speeking German. The next day I asked her to spend three more nights for the same price and she agreed directly. 
We were able to ask her all the time and she helped a lot with finding nice sunset spots, Restaurants, bars,....
Also we were able to use the bikes for free of charge.
You can also use the lundry - perfect working.
The breakfast was fresh made with love every day and we got it on our own terrace. As I think everywhere on the Islands you were able to choose between different kind of egg dishes or pancakes. Also we got fresh juice and a fruit salad.
We really enjoyed our time here, cause it was quiet but central located.

Small but so cozy and great

Best place to stay on Gili Trawangan! It is such a lovely and cozy place and the owners are such wonderful and friendly people, who will help you with everything you need. And the Breakfast is simply delicious! A big plus for me was also that The Little Elephant is eco friendly: you can always refill your water bottle here for free and they offer you steel straws to carry with you during your stay on the island, so you can help reduce plastics straws. I can only recommend The Little Elephant for your stay on Gili Trawangan!

The Place to stay on Gili Trawangan!

We've been here six nights and it's been great! Super clean accommodation, cozy furnishings, fantastic breakfast and very friendly owners. We really enjoyed the time here and were super sad when our time was over.

What a great place to stay.

I stayed in Bali for a week, I have done the booking for one day to stay in Gili T, I dont know they keep saying fake or not before 12 hours they have canceled my booking by saying Air conditioner is not working in my room and even they have not fixed and keep lie that is a holiday when there is no holiday. On behalf Of my booking, they provided the worst property and very unhygienic and cheaper level, I suffered a lot when I went on honeymoon. They Keep saying you only staying for one day so they cancelled my booking I guess they done for making more profit from other people.

Fake Cancelled my Booking

We had a very wonderful stay in Little Elephant Cottage! Jeannine from Austria and Hendra from Lombok are two very friendly hosts and take care of everything! Whether it's excursions, laundry, locals or info around the island, the two are always on the spot! The island is small and everything can be easily reached by bicycle. You can walk from the dock to the cottage (about 5 minutes). From a ride with the horse carriage I would advise... Like everywhere else, we are also with Jeannine and Hendra on the road, where they love to care for each other! There is usually no hot breakfast in our family room (Little Pancakes, Terracotta, Coffee) and there is a freezer in our house.

It's small, fine and personal.

Small three-room hotel owned by a charming couple, beautiful garden, perfect service, breakfast served on our terrace and all this has a more than right price the hotel is well placed ready for beaches and restaurants in a local neighborhood we loved

A little corner of paradise

Our stay here was amazing! So valuable with an amazing breakfast and amazing bikes to rent too! The staff were super friendly and there when we needed them! Thank you so much for everything definitely will be back soon! The place it’s self is beautiful, the rooms were gorg too thank you to Hendra, Soni and Samuel!!

The homestay is truly my resting place on the sunny, very lively island. The breakfast there is really the hammer and with a please and thank you Mab gets the breakfast even after the regular time.;-). Generally, the owners are quite friendly and helpful. The room is really nice, according to the photos, had a pleasant size and true to Asian conditions extremely clean. I would like to sleep there again anyway.

The island's calm

It smelt really bad in the room we had to buy an air freshener.
The child who lives there screams (literally) in the morning and during the day. 
The WiFi is poor, and the bathroom is dingy. Cold water. 
I would say it needs some TLC and paint desperately. 
The pancakes where good, we where only offered breakfast once during our week stay even tho it was included in our package? 
Tiny blanket for the bed, only covered 1 person. 
I wouldn’t stay here again, location wise it was good tho. 
The snacks in the fridge where good too. And the guy was lovely. Shame as I we thought it was going to be great.
