FANTASTIC PLACE! We stayed here over New year with my two teenagers, it was a lovely! The owners are very friendly and helpful and made every effort to ensure we were happy and comfortable. The rooms were very clean and spacious and we had everything we needed, we were there for 4 days and enjoyed the pool area very much with the under cover canopy seating area providing shade in the heat. There is a 7 eleven shop very close by which we used often. The owners made a great breakfast in the morning and were extremely hospitable. They even took us too a great Italian restaurant in the town which was delightful. I could not fault this place and I would love to go back one day.

I am originally from Yang Talad and when i come to see my father i stay here. Its the best for many miles around.
Great couple running the resort. So friendly and helpful. As a family we loved being with them.

Excellent resort/ รีสอร์ทที่ยอดเยี่ยม

This resort hosted by Englishman Carlo and his wife is definitely the best place in this whole area. We loved it. Warm hospitable friendly hosts who gave us lots of helpful tips. We have stayed in a few places in this district and now we will only be staying here from now on. Proper full English breakfast with Cumberland sausages, swimming pool for the kids and comfortable room with hot power shower it's everything we needed after a dusty day exploring the local farms.

Best resort in the whole province

1300 baht😂😳, the fares have doubled compared to last year where we pay 750 baht  why? Do you believe Kantharawichai is the Phuket of Lissan? Plus your resort is located next to a very busy road, the noise of cars never stops, no parking, no restaurant.... If so, this year we have chosen not to come to you anymore, we have found the orchid resort is 8 km from Kantharawichai with foot rooms in the water, with swimming pool, restaurant and bar quiet for 600 baht at night, so I advise against you, and their advice the orchid resort a maha sarakhame, which has much more to do with the quality of your travel than their establishment!

Disappointed

A very well maintained and cared for place, lovely owners.  Breakfast served by the pool. A no fuss relaxing place to stay, some local eateries and market close by. Just great to walk out the door and into the pool. I will definitely be back 

A slice of paradise 

Stayed  a day and night as we where passing through, great bungalows with everything you need, with table and chairs outside, also sun loungers,the pool was a good size, big enough to swim in,a  free breakfast was included with toast, jam, cereal, cakes and fruit or you could have a an english breakfast at a small price, The owners couldn't do enough for us even went to the shop to get beer for my husband, Our room backed onto the main road but we didn't hear any noise when the doors were closed, we really enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again.

Great Place To Chill Out

We arrived in the afternoon and were greeted by the very nice couple who own the resort. The modern beautiful bungalows have everything you need. The whole place is clean and tidy, and in the middle of everything a lovely swimming pool. Having stayed at several resorts in the region this was by far the nicest of all. We loved the place and would absolutely come back to stay here again!

Arrived early but no problem too check in, very clean bungalows, very friendly owners, free breakfast, many tv channels, water cooker in room, pool cleaned daily, good aircon and good an lots of hot water in room, will be back soon, easy to book and fast reply on email 

Very nice place to stay

Coconut Palms resort in Kantarawichai is hardly 50m from the road, more like 5m from a busy main road that behind the back  walls of the bungalows. Late afternoon Intending to stop for the night to break a journey, the place was clearly not to  be open for business. The photos on its web site are very deceptively retouched - it actually is a cramped attempt to squeeze what look like two or three external rooms for private guests, a pool, and a gazebo into the small garden of a typical modest Thai house. The water in the minute pool was a thick pea soup and the entire premises had a general aspect of being a project long overdue for completion.  We have stayed in far better places than this and even real boutique hotels in Isan for THB 500 a night compared with the 700 this place is asking. The average price for basic accommodation  like this in northeast Thailand is THB 350 - 500.  My colleague and I didn't say  a word, we just went quietly back  to the car,  moved on and found suitable accommodation elsewhere with full facilities, a covered garage for the car, a proper pool, a nice restaurant and free full  breakfast, all  for THB 600.
