52 reviewsWe had a fantastic stay at Huitzical during our visit to Tulum in February. We split our visit between Tulum town and Tulum beach, spending a few days in each, and Huitzical was our base in Tulum town. We wanted to stay in town to experience a more local side of Tulum, aside from all the resorts and tourists. We also wanted to be close to some great local restaurants, which are hard to find around the beach area. Tulum town is also a great base if you’re going to be taking day trips to Coba, Muyil, cenotes etc as you’ll be right next to public transport. We absolutely adored our room in Huitzical. The decor was beautiful, the bed was super comfy, the lush green tropical vibe of the surroundings was just wow. We enjoyed reading a book by the pool and tanning on the rooftop. We also loved the breakfast, which was delicious and kept us full for a good chunk of the day. Another huge plus was having access to free bikes - getting around Tulum on bicycles is the perfect way. Thank you to the super sweet and friendly staff for your amazing hospitality, we can 100% recommend Huitzical to everyone.
