Our delightful hostess Veronica cooked delicious dinners of trout from the lake, organised our washing, and even helped negotiate the opaque boat service to the northern side of the island, which hosts the impressive Inca ruins of Chincana. 

Our room offered great views of the bay.

Note that many of the B&Bs on Isla del Sol are up a steep hill: this is a great option, just a short walk up from the bay where the boats frm Copacabana arrive.

Warm welcome, great views

The team was marvelously welcoming, the room was exceptionally clean, breakfast and other meals were delicious and impressive.

I loved everything in this place.

Excellent everything since arrival, the hotel people are very friendly and helpful, the hotel is very nice and cozy, the rooms are clean and with a beautiful view, the trout is one of the best I have ever eaten, one of the best travel experiences I have ever had.

Spent 3 nights here and the views of the harbour with its daily routines and rituals was entertaining. The place is very clean, friendly and comfortable with great views. Be aware of the climb to the “pueblo” where you have more choice of eateries. My wife and I could only manage one climb per day. The life at the lake level is very quiet after about6pm Sonya be difficult to find somewhere to eat, although our hostel was always ready to cook us dinner off the menu even if we were the only ones! Be also aware that the nort south split is very real and you will not be allowed to pass the red flag post about 300m nort of the Yumani pueblo. My wife and I took an alternate route and found ourselves in a bit of hot water coming back across the conventional path. The walls are amazing! Just take your time given the altitude!!

Good place to spend a night or two

The view from the Hostel is stunning, it's the reason I chose the place, and it's absolutely worth it. There's a somewhat steep climb from the port, it's not long, but a bit tedious. Facilities are basic, but it had more than I was expecting - hot water on demand, and a good wi-fi connection in the dining hall. The staff is minimal, but the lady who seemed to do everything was very pleasant. I'd definitely recommend this place.
I had a room on the lower level, and getting back at night was tricky since there was no lighting and a step drop, but otherwise - no complaints.

What a view

Very good stay at Hotel Jacha inti on the Isla Del Sol. It is close to the harbour with a beautiful view of the mountain range, the Isla Del Luna and the lake. The hotel is very beautiful as well as the wedding room with hot water, and breakfast and top. Perfect staff nickel and wifi. It may be a bit expensive but it's worth the price in such a setting. The associated restaurant is a little lower compared to other restaurants on the island but right. I recommend this hotel.

Staying at Isla del Sol - Hotel Jacha Inti

We pre-booked to stay one night at Jacha Inti and ended up extending a day after falling ill on the boat ride over.  The owner of the hostel was extremely helpful and even made us tea using herbs that she went out and picked for us herself. 
Beds were comfortable and the views from the room were incredible.  Only a single shared bathroom but completely reasonable considering the price and remoteness of the hostel.  Don't let it deter you.

Stunning views and friendly staff

Beautiful hostel overlooking the port with break taking views of the ocean. 

We decided to stay here as it was close to the port - this was perfect as we could walk to the other side without our bags quite easily for sunset. 

Free breakfast included and a lovely terrace to spend your days. 

Breathtaking views and reasonably priced 

The place is beautiful, the rooms and the bathroom are clean, but our stay was not good because the lady who looked after us (Felicia, or something like that) treated us badly during the whole stay, as we were in the off season charging us cheap, she accepted the price, but then she spent the whole stay doing things to annoy us because we were paying little, for example, she lied to us saying that there was no internet so she wouldn't give us the wifi key (while other guests used it without a problem) and said to us in a bad way that we WANT to consume because we were paying very little, the truth is that it made the stay quite uncomfortable for the lady.

Señora maleducada is the first woman to do so.

Me and my wife stayed here for one night. The bed was super comfy (comforter with real plumes, which makes it sooooooo nice)
The owners are both very nice people and what makes this place better then all the other places is the location... It's basically a corner lot... The view is the very best of all the others on the area... And it's also quiet at nighttime.. if you would stay a bit lower then this place, you would have to deal with the llamas and the donkeys passing by... (Noisy and smelly) but from this place you don't have any of that. 
If me and my wife would return to this island we would without a doubt stay here again. We paid around 50 US dollar (but we did had our own private bathroom and the higher location with spectacular view. I would definitely recommend this place!
