Root Karakoy Hotel

Amazing location, very central with tram station, bars and food options in a very short distance and grrat value for money. The staff at the reception has been so friendly that really went above and beyond on offering us the best possible experience. Special thanks to Mert, who has been patiently answering all our questions and even prompted us to ask even more, whenever we had the need to. They also kindly upgraded our room so we could be on the same floor with our friends, so we appreciated this gesture. The guys that welcomed us upon our arrival, we're also very nice - the restaurant of the hotel was already closed by the time we got there, so they were trying to call another place to accommodate us with food options. Unfortunately I do not recall the name of the sweet girl that was working on our last day during our checkout, but she was very warm, friendly and smiley. The reception of the hotel was very beautifully decorated and for the ones that enjoy a spa day, there is one at the lower storey of the hotel, which unfortunately we did not have the time to visit. Overall, I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Root Karaköy hotel, and if we decide to revisit Istanbul, we will not give it a second thought where to book our stay.
