The hotel is very good. Finding a parking space was no problem. And it's also very central. You can get to everything worth seeing on foot. The outdoor area is beautiful with a view of the Danube and beautifully cut off from the street. To the hotel: breakfast from the buffet was perfectly fine and the soft-cooked breakfast tea ordered was perfectly soft-cooked. The rooms are not very big, but the hotel is now in an old building. You can't change certain things. However (and fairly I have to say that you can also see this clearly when booking), it's through the rooms. Small rooms just at high temperatures in the summer without air conditioning are already quite warm. So there's a problem, so anyone who has a night should consider a recommendation.

to recommend with a few hints

The hotel has been recently renovated. The halls are not quite finished yet. The rooms are quite fine, the cleanliness could be improved. The bathroom is very small; I am slim, but there could be space anxiety. Right now there is really no air conditioning; in summer it is quite warm in the room, with the windows open, sleeping is not possible, too loud. Check-in at 15:00, check-out at 10:30, - such times I have not had in any hotel on the trip.

It was a mixed experience.

It's a fantastic restaurant on a bank of the Danube, so that the view one can enjoy on the elegant buildings located on the other side of the river and on the river itself while having a meal is marvellous. 
The food in that restaurant is made with ingredients of the highest quality. I asked for  tofu and it was delicious.
All the waiters, waitresses and the rest of the staff are very kind and helpful.
Therefore it's by all means recommendable to go to the restaurant concerned and have a meal there while in Passau

Extraordinary restaurant

The ambiance is definitely nice. The location is great between Donau and in the old town. 
The service couldn’t be more friendly. 

Restaurant: 
Sitting on the outdoor terrace with view of the River is romantic. 
Bring patience and time. It takes an hour or more to get the food. Food is plentiful but a bit dry, the bread was old, the fries crispy. The salads look amazing. 
Prices are reasonable. 

Hotel: the rooms are simple, clean and bright,  the beds super comfy. 
The view of the Donau was pretty but at night a drunken crowd yelled and  carried on with revving cars, loud stereos for an hour late at night. 
Maintenance could use a little help. The bathroom door would not close. 
Check out already 10:30 firm. 
Take a room facing toward the old town. 
Don’t arrive from the back entrance unless you want to lug your suitcase up a steep set if stairs.

Pretty location, friendly service.

For dinner on the terrace with a wonderful view... a variety of food options (not recognizable on the hanging map at all). We had chosen very differently, among others, Wiener Schnitzel, Red Beete-Carpaccio with goat cheese, steak, salad with chicken. Everything tasted very good and the waiter was also nice!

Positive: Very clean, friendly staff. The location is top. Neutral: The restaurant is good, but could be improved by a larger selection of vegetarian foods. Negative: Something noisy. The room was just above the restaurant or terrace. The traffic from the shore was also audible. But it didn't bother all too much. However, sensitive guests might have a problem with it.

The hotel is located in the old town. All the sights are within walking distance. Parking is available at the hotel. Everything is easily accessible by elevator - in the hotel. Staff is very friendly but slightly overloaded. Despite Corona, this hotel is workable. I could park my bike in a garage. Rooms are clean but slightly spaced. Breakfast and dinner are good.

This hotel was a challenge to get to, park and to get to our room.   The front of the hotel was in a small busy street with no parking to unload luggage.   We had to go to the back of the hotel which is on a major street to unload our luggage.   From this door you must climb about 15 stairs to get to the elevator which takes you to the floor where your room is located.  You then had to go down a small hallway off to the side to get to your room.  This room was very small with no safe.  To get to the reception area, you had to go through the restaurant to get to your room and vice versa.  The parking was a challenge.  There is a parking lot a block away, but you will have to feed the meter, so you don’t get a parking ticket.  We used a private parking garage a few blocks away which for about the same price as the meters, you get to park your car and not worry about feeding the meters.  This hotel is close to the Danube river where the river cruise boats dock, the lovely cathedral which has noon-time concerts, restaurants and shopping.

Wild time getting the luggage inito the room

The hotel is located about 1 km from the main station in Passau and can be reached on foot in about 20 minutes. We got 201 in the 2nd Stock. It is recommended to take the entrance at the Paul's arch and not the lower one on the Danube promenade. If you arrive there, you must first carry your luggage up a few steps, then with the elevator on the 3rd floor and through the restaurant for reception. If you arrive directly at the Paul's arch, you can save yourself the trouble. We got 201 in the 2nd Stock. The room had to be large enough for two people and the bathroom was wide enough for you to spend at least one hour on the Danube. If you open the window and unlock the net. If you close it, you can also hear the buses on the street, then the elevator on the 3rd floor and through the restaurant for the reception.

We wish we had stayed longer.

The hotel is located in the old town and close to many restaurants. The breakfast service is nice. Less nice is when you as a guest call the non-functioning wifi several times and so have to sit in your room without connecting to the outside world and also from the staff only pompous and unqualified answers ala, turn off your wifi and activate it again, then it should go, gets.
