Jugendherberge Otto-Moericke-Turm

We were travelling for a cycling trip with a full bus of cycling enthusiasts and were staying in this place for 4 nights. Frankly, I cannot say one bad thing. If you are looking for a clean place to stay during your explorations around the Lake Constance, this is where you can find everything you need - in each room there were bunk beds, table, chairs, small cupboards for clothes and personal stuff, separate bathroom with a toilet and a shower for each room. We were staying in rooms for 4 or 6 people. Some rooms have the view facing the Lake Constance - mostly those in the tower. I, personally, was accommodated in the tower, on the 7th floor (out of 8). The view is very nice, even though you need to accept taking stairs up and down without elevator. In any case, it teaches you to think ahead if you really need to go up or down :) The local cuisine was really tasty. Great variety of meals to choose from changing every day, a lot of salads to combine with the meals. Light desserts (like sweet rice, pudding, yoghurt with sweet fruits) after every dinner. The staff was friendly and helpful. I am not sure if it was because we were a big group of tourists, or it is generally available for smaller groups too, but at the reception we got public transport passes through the whole period of our stay and we could use the local public transport (in groups of two people) in Constance city for free which was quite convenient. Wifi connection was free, but limited to 60 minutes of Internet browsing per each 8 hours. An overall experience with this place was really good and I would definitely not hesitate to come here again.
