a small Swedish house with supposedly country-style furnishings. a nice room with everything you need. good breakfast. everything clean. simple. only regrettable is the cash payment at the end of a trip.

That's how you imagine a Swedish house.

I received such a prompt answer from the owner, with details of the best options when coming from the late ferry.  Owner does not live on the property, and the key is left in a coded box at the front door.  It would be helpful if there was a security light that came on when someone was on the steps to the front door, so that you could see the numbers/letters easier at night. 
House is 1920s, and is decorated in a romantic style relevant to the house. 
Simple cold breakfast.   House is within easy walking distance of the bus station.
Everything was nicely done.

Writing this as we stay in the Svea B&B ... This is a nice B&B, set in a house from the 1920ies, in a quiet area of Trelleborg, near the center, and maintained in authentic style. We stayed in a spacious room with high ceiling, very nicely decorated. The breakfast room is even prettier.The beds are very comfortable, and all modern comfort is available (wireless, wired internet, TV, modern bathroom ...).

Charming and good B&B

Lovely B&B in an old brick house. Great facilities, nice service. We stayed here one night, but the nice house is too bad for a stopover. Delicious breakfast. Trelleborg itself is not so exciting, but there are two nice restaurants outside in the city park.

A wonderful B&B

Cosy and quietly placed B&B almost in the center of Trelleborg.
The interior is kept in an old fashion that befits the house. 
We had a double room with own bathroom and in total it was probably around 25m2. Everything was well-maintained and both room and bathroom was clean and tidy. 
Wired Internet (network-cable is available in the room) is included in the prize. 
From 6-10am you are free to take breakfast in the breakfast room. Cheese, salami, yoghurt, cereal, tea, coffee and toast-bread. Quite simple, but in my mind OK. I would not expect a large selection at a simple B&B. 
Very friendly owner. 
A very cosy place to stay as a base for exploring the south-coast of Sweden. 
We would not hesitate to come back.
