Pretty while also very functiona, and so clever!

Such a family friendly and unique hotel, staff were lovely, rooms were really nicely finished. Food was great, especially the lobby café. Entertainment for the kids was on another level for a short city break. I was a little worried with the location if it was too far from the main centre, but it was either a nice walk or we made use of the tram stop, located right out the front. Public transport was really straight forward to get everywhere we needed.

This hotel was super fun. Very nicely decorated with lots of activities for kids. Conveniently located by museums and other attractions. I will enjoy staying here again.

Crazy happy about our visit here! Such a nice atmosphere, decor, standard etc - fantastic experience! The photos on the web don't do it justice - when you're surrounded by it, the background music, the laughter of kids running up the stairs for "one last ride of the corkscrew slide" - it's just super. Great buffet breakfast & dinner with both kid-friendly and quality grown up food.

The hotel is beautiful. Unique design and interior, super fun for a family stay. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The only issue was the buffet- we expected more variety for the price we paid. The dinner buffet was really disappointing- food was getting cold and not being refilled. It wasn't many options to choose from either and some dishes seemed they were sitting there gor a while..I know is low season and they dont have many guests,  but there should be consistency when it comes to that- at the end of the day you pay same price for the buffet no matter if its low or high season. Best would have been simple and delicious a la carte for dinner, so that way they reduce waste and guests are being served always fresh and warm food. The staff is super friendly tho. I wish only the bartender in the roof top bar gave better service instead of sitting on the phone for an hour, but that's ofcourse is another topic. There are some small things to be worked on, but that doesn't mean that the place is not amazing and the staff doesn't tho the best thay can. Just more focus in the winter season as well.

The hotel overall is very good and good service. Located closed to public transport and tourist spots.

Absolutely amazing stay. Unique hotel, very beautifully decorated. Breakfast buffet was great, lots of healthy options and amazing fresh bread. Staff were incredibly friendly. Hotel brimming with happy families and children , loved them wondering around in pjs in the evening. Will definitely be back

Long weekend fun family city break!

Perfect family hotel experience

Another fantastic trip to Gothenburg with family.  This hotel is ideally placed to take full advantage of Liseberg park.Rooms are great, one small quibble would be breakfast on the Saturday morning was majorly over crowded.  Although breakfast slots are booked to prevent this it seems to have been mostly ignored and not enforced.Will be back…

A great stay

My visit was for one night, it was clean and comfortable and very pleasant, I loved that it was sound proof so my kid could play and watch tv without annoying anyone so we slipped the worry, the space was just enough for us, we had waterboiler and overall necessary stuff like hairdryer to make our travel worry free and the place the location of the Hotell was just perfect as if 100m away from the park so i could go back and forth as much as needed whenever i want .. i could just describe it as 100% successful trip for a family

Exceptionell

This was such a fun hotel! We needed a space for our family of 5, and we’re happy to find these accommodations. The hotel was clean and fresh with wonderful amenities.We loved that the kids bunk area was sectioned off from the main room and there were plentiful hooks in the room to help us stay organized. The in-room coffee station also has hot cocoa which was a fun touch.The lobby was gorgeous and well themed with ample space to relax. Our 6 year old loved the slide and must have gone down it 30 times… we also appreciated the game room full of toys, games and free air hockey. There was a movie theater too showing kids movies, but we didn’t have a chance to watch them - a fun feature though. The breakfast buffet was huge and had a great variety of food to try. We went near opening time both mornings and it was fairly calm (you get an email before you arrive to schedule your breakfast times, but we were able to adjust them once there to an alternate available time). So much good food, a fancy coffee machine and it was all delicious! They also have a (free) carouse adjacent to the breakfast restaurant in case the kiddos want to take a spin.We were got going to the amusement park, but instead exploring Göteborg and this was a good location for this (convenient tram access to the train station and several transit options).This hotel was parent and kid friendly. Some kid-friendly hotels seem to forget about the parents, but this one was pleasant for everyone!

Wonderful family hotel

I liked that majority of the time this hotel is quiet. There was tons of kids running around having fun but was not being disturbing. I requested a high level so I could be away from the chatter in the lobby. However, The room doors slams very loudly which shakes the walls and bed. So in mornings when everyone goes in and out rooms it can be very hard to sleep. Also, housekeeping are going in and out rooms with doors slamming. I did not like this and slamming doors causes me to have bad migraines. If you hold the door while you exit the room you can prevent doors from slamming. Other than that this hotel was great. Food and drinks where delicious.

My plane was delayed into Gothenburg meaning arriving at the hotel at 1am. Even though it was late I was greet warmly by a lady on the desk after praying there would still be someone there to let me enter the hotel. I was checked in with no issues and quickly given my key card and was on my way to the room after booking my breakfast slots. On entering the room it was extra clean and tidy with no issues at all. The room was spotless and bed well made. The room had a small fridge enough for a small amount of shopping. The room came with some lovely toiletries and a kettle and a selection of tea plus some milk and sugar. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of fruit, meats, cheese, cakes, breads and the usual bacon and eggs. The hotel provided a selection of vegan and gluten free items and if you needed more you could speak to a chef to see what foods they could offer. The cafe and ice cream bar in the hotel was good and offered a great selection of itemsEverything in the hotel has been well thought out and there’s even a carousel, which operates at certain times of the morning and afternoon. I’d definitely stay here again when I visit Liseberg. The hotel is right next to the park, so only have to come out of the door and your into the park. The hotel has good transport links with a tram stop right outside the hotel meaning for quick connections into the city itself. On checking out the staff were great and took my case at the reception for safe keeping.

Excellent hotel with friendly staff.

We visited the hotel purely to visit the park. It was convenient for that that and getting into the centre of the town. The hotel was excellent. Check in was simple. We were a family of 4, with late teen kids. We had a family room so a king and some bunks with a trundle. The room was clean. The bathroom was great really nice walk in shower. We had tea and coffee in the room with a kettle: there was also a free safe. The bead were comfortable with a good topper and simple white cotton sheets. The AC worked well but it was not hot at all during our stay and we had the window open for air. The breakfast was included: the buffet was fantastic. One of my children is a vegan. Not a problem. We also ate at the evening buffet the first night which was also fine. This is a family hotel. We visited during the Swedish school holidays. There were a lot of families there. There is a slide from the first floor to the reception and if you use the stairs to go up from reception you always had to be careful of the kids running up and down and their shoes which were either at the bottom of the stairs or at the very top. But you could always just catch the lift. If you don’t like being around kids maybe choose another hotel.The hotel reminded me of the Alton Towers hotels. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Liseberg and the hotel: completely recommend it and would go back tomorrow for the scrambled eggs alone.

We came here with our family of four (2 parents, 2 elementary school aged boys) and it was amazing for us all. Creative and fun decor was awesome! Cleanliness with number of kids there was impressive. Boys loved the bunk bed nook in our room. Location on stop of tram was convenient in addition to obvious proximity to Liseberg amusement park (and Universeum). Breakfast buffet was also fantastic. Rooftop bistro and bar was also great with views overlooking Liseberg. Would stay again easily if ever back in town.
