Hotel Na Taconera

We have just come back from here following a beautiful 1 week relaxing stay. It is just a wonderful quaint place. After a busy year so far we needed to recharge ourselves. Firstly, the location was ideal for us. It wasn’t full of cheap bars, or rowdy people. It has a couple of local shops, restaurants and a lovely beach. The hotel is not full of children screaming nor does it have much entertainment. Its relaxed ambient atmosphere was a pleasure. The rooms are basic, but clean. Staff are friendly. Breakfast was delicious, we didn’t eat in the hotel at night as we went out for food, locally every night. One thing can be said about the eating area was the fact it was in order, no mess where the food was, the staff were efficient in keeping the tables clear and clean. The pool area was a delight. No need to secure a bed as they have a no towel policy nor are you allowed to eat at the pool, which meant limited bugs. It wasn’t overcrowded and we had the pool to ourselves first thing in the morning. The sports facilities were a plenty. We only used the pool, but having a walk around it was clear to see. The hotel is 15mins from the town centre. We used a local bike hire and travelled around. It took us literally several minutes to get to the centre via the coastal road. The only downfall, we were on the 6th floor, we are fit and in our 40s and it was some distance to get to the room, there is no iron. So, take a travel iron, no tea or coffee facilities in the room. Other than those slight issues (which we managed) what an amazing stay we have had. Thank you. We will definitely come back again.
