Apartamentos Port Cambrils

Stayed here in August 2014. The apartments are very well decorated and clean and luxurious. We had a 2 bed unit and the staff very kindly put in a camp bed for our 3rd child. The second bedroom was big enough to take 2 existing single beds and the double bed. There is a fully kitted out kitchen with all amenities to allow for a comfortable stay for a family of 5. The only thing is that there is no dishwasher or electric kettle (the norm in spain). The apartments are located just off the main road in cambrils (if you can call it a main road). with stunning views over the port with everything from fishing trawlers to luxury yachts. There are an abundance of shops and restaurants right outside the apartments. The only problem is that to pick up and drop off keys one has to go to Hotel Port Eugiene which is 5 mins drive away. Not a problem if like us you hire a car. However car parking is an issue as there is non at the apartments. There is an underground car park called Saba off the main road but overnight will set you back 25 Euros. We found a cheaper place - Drive along on the main road (with apartments on Right hand side and port on left) at the round about (20 mtrs from apartment) go straight on. You will see a park on your right (parc de piscadores) after the park (20 mtrs) on the right is a turning, Take this turning and it leads into a car park. You need to pay and display the ticket on your windscreen and it costs just 4 euros 40 cents after 9pm till 17:00.
