Small but nicely decorated room with lovely balcony overlooking the town and sea.  Aircon was appreciated!  Little fridge in the room and a kettle, would have been nice to have had a couple of bowls and cutlery so we could make our own breakfast and enjoy it on the balcony.  It was good value and short walk from Hvar town but up a lot of steps so not ideal if you have mobility issues (that being said a lot of Hvar Town involves steps!)   They kindly allowed us to store luggage after check out which was greatly appreciated.  The rooms aren't exactly soundproof, we could hear the antics of our neighbours....!

Great value stay in Hvar

Lada and her husband are great, Lada walked me from the boat to the apartment and showed me all of the best restaurants and places to shop on the way. 

The view is amazing. 5 minute walk to the port for day trips to other islands. Ladas husband is a boat captain and arranged a trip for me.

5 stars would definitely recommend everyone to stay here

My favourite stay of all my trips

A modest guest house with no breakfast service, a few steps up with the suitcase to get to the gite, clean laundry and the quiet place, but a pitch-on bathroom, and a good source of information, maybe a little sticky.

Excellent location in HVAR to visit

A fantastic place to stay for some rest and relaxation. For us it felt like a home from home! It has wonderful views and Lada is fantastic. It is also an excellent price for such a good location in Hvar! 

A lovely visit

The kindness of the owner and the family is unimaginable. It welcomes the guest and makes him feel at home. The advice given is valuable. The accommodation in the apartment is excellent. The view from the terrace and the tranquility of the place are priceless. Thank you Lada for the beautiful experience!

It's fabulous.

What a lovely room! The terrace is really cute and has an absolutely amazing view over Hvar. Perfect setting for a nice breakfast. Lada was such a fantastic host, she was so friendly and welcoming and gave us lots of help, advice and recommendations. We fell in love with Hvar and would definitely stay here again.

What a lovely place to stay. The previous reviewers were absolutely right about the lovely Lada and Gordan, they made our stay in Hvar very special with their kind and generous thoughts, ideas and suggestions. The holiday was made even more special by having the opportunity to spend a day on Gordan's boat which took us to places along the coast that not many other tourists get the chance to see, the trip included a nice break for wine tasting and a lovely location for lunch, we also had the opportunity to swim in several lovely coves.

If ever we decide to return to Hvar we will definitely stay again as it would be impossible to find such a lovely and welcoming host anywhere, the steps back to the villa were a welcoming end to the day as they helped digest some of the excellent meals we enjoyed, they certainly aren't a problem if you are reasonably fit!

Fantastic Hosts and fabulous view

We have stayed here during our holiday in Hvar, and we cannot be happier. The room is very crowded, and we should highlight the amazing views it has.... We enjoy a beautiful little courtyard, overlooking the wall and the town of Hvar. Although from the whole stay what should be appreciated is the girl who received us... LADA!! It is a real charm that has made us feel at home from the beginning putting one facility after another. Very happy with the treatment and your recommendations to make our days in Hvar, a few perfect days!

An unforgettable stay in Hvar!

We stayed 6 nights in Vuljan and loved it. Our charming host Lada was waiting for us at the harbour and explained us a lot of usefull things while walking to the guesthouse. The room was big enough and very clean and from our small terrace, the view on Hvar city was so nice. The guesthouse is a little uphill, but we are 60+ and we had no problems.Vuljan is at a short walking distance from the harbour, the city center and resto's, the citadel and is very close to the busstation and the Konzum supermarket.Location is quiet and good. In the room, you have everything to prepare your breakfast, that you can eat on your private terrace, so fridge, waterboiler, tea and coffee, cups, plates, glasses, knifes, forks, spoons...You can use a hairdryer, beach towels and beach mats and there is even a smal library. Lada takes really care of her guest. When she saw that we were travelling with just hand luggage, she placed extra shampoo, moisturizing shower gel and after sun lotion in the bathroom. How lovely! Are there negative things? Nothing is perfect. You can sit on your terrace untill noon, then it becomes too hot in the sun. If you need shade, you can look for a place in the garden, full of lavender and olives. There are no good beaches, close to the guesthouse. If you have not your own transport, you can take a bus to the beach of Dubovica, or you can take a watertaxi to one of the Pakleni islands, what I recommend. If you like walking, go to the Napoleon fort, for the most beautiful view! It is a bit of climbing, so do it early in the morning! The view is nicer than from the citadel.  Lada, thank you for the lovely stay, we still smell the lavender and hope to come back one day.

Nice stay and a lovely host

During our trip to Croatia we stopped on the island of Hvar. Welcome to the harbour at the boat's departure by Lada On our trip to the room she advised us on restaurants, bars and beaches. These tips were very helpful. Our room had a balcony with sea view and the center of Hvar beautiful morning view for breakfast on the balcony. There is no breakfast but the room has a refrigerator and breakfast supplies. A bakery and a supermarket are nearby. Our experience at one of the best hotels in Croatia. I highly recommend this place.
