This place makes it into my personal worst top five. Absolute dump. Don’t even think about ordering food from the adjacent restaurant unless you like surprises. Included ‘breakfast’ is just coffee. 

Staff is friendly though.

Bed was ok but firm,  shower was very low pressure.
A lot of ants, very outdated furniture and it was broken.
Tv cable could reach power point and the air con was very dirty.
Highly overpriced hotel, would not recommended staying here.
There is a building site adjacent to hotel, it's noisy from early morning. There is possibly 1 year or more of work.



Old and dated

This place was useless, my girlfriend wanted a hair dryer, we asked at reception, and he looked at us, as though we were mad., Breakfast time , I wanted a coffee only to find the coffee cups full of ants!!!
I was going to ask for milk at reception, but changed my mind as the reception guy was just sitting there picking his nose.
The wardrobe in the room looked like it was about to fall apart, and the mirror was all cracked. Really...no no kettle in the room, no hair dryer, square and old TV. If the price for this room was reasonable I would not of minded so much, but there are other hotels in the same area much better and well equipped for around the same price.

Nice place for ants!

The hotel is quite old and small.  Lack of amenities and service.  No hair dryer is in the room.

Stayed here one night only thank god. Broken furniture, rock hard bed, noisy, shower had no power, old shabby furniture and whole place got a decrepit feel to it. I’m no snob and if the room was £10 I’d be happy as Larry with it but not when I was paying triple that.  Much better places to rent for the same or less money. My friends room bathroom was full of ants. 

What a dump 

Cheap lodging in a good location on the river, not far from the few bars and restaurants in town. 
It was clean and tidy without many features aside from a big fridge+freezer. Got noisy at night, though, due to the room facing the adjacent (very nice) riverfront restaurant/beer garden. Didn't bother me as they would stop at midnight like most places. 
Supposedly, this is a fairly new building. Why they would make that without balconies is beyond my comprehension. 
Shower was annoying without a place to affix the shower head and the water pressure was appallingly low. 
Wifi was decent in the reception area. But absolutely hopeless upstairs. 
Didn't try the food. 
Staff was friendly and helpful. 
In summary, I'd say it's a decent place to stay for a couple of days.

Reasonable

I stayed 1 night here. I reserved the room.over the phone. 1100 thai baht per night. Rooms are clean. Staff were very nice. Even included a 2 egg n toast breakfast with coffee n tea. It was good. The location is really good too. Next door is a rooftop bar/restaurant which was affordable and served beer laos dark. I definately would stay here again. I used to stay at a boutique hotel solana, but it is not much better and is 3 times the price. This hotel has wifi too. They even have toothbrush shampoo etc in a kit in the bathroom. I say its a great value compared to the expensive options

Great value No elevator

Indeed a nice place, well located with accurate and clean rooms for the category
When it comes to services my experience was no too good; no valuable information at check-in, TV/warm-water shower/WiFi at lowest level...

Nice place, low service

Good location with busy and good restaurant / beergarden next to it. 
Cleaning of rooms is not so great unfortunately.  Beds and bathroom are clean. But overall the rooms are worn out.The price 290000 kip is high but its common in Vientianne. 

Good location 

For our first hotel in Laos I have a very mixed opinion. The building is good, but it lacks a good brush stroke outside and inside. There is a very large potential but everything is done anyway. There is a nice wooden counter in the room where the reception is made of a horrible orange plastic. Everything that is beautiful is hidden or poorly arranged, even in the room. The conclusion is everything is average. A very good restaurant with a view of the entire Maegkon touches the hotel. Fish cooked in a broth (super)
