I stayed one night at this hotel. The hotel has three rooms with a good facilities and clean. All rooms are shared bathrooms. Two Bathrooms are exotic and excellent feeling. One bathroom is indoor and another one is outdoor. While you are having a shower, it is good to have a shower at outdoor bathroom. Hotel is located in a very good location and not very far from the night market and pier. Bicycles are availiable for the guests to enjoy the old city. Bicycle rental shop is a couple steps from the hotel. 

Lastly, the hotel owner is very friendly and helpful. I would recommended this hotel to everyone. 

Fantastic and excellent hotel

Even the fact that it was small; it had three spacious rooms and two bathrooms ( one in the open air ).
The decor was a fusion of modern and colonial. The host was welcoming and helpful. The staff were very nice and happy all the time. Thank you

Beautifully designed hotel

I really enjoyed my short stay. 
My room was large and comfortable. 
There are 3 rooms here and 2 toilets shared. Toilets are outside the rooms. 
Both include a shower, one is open air, very nice
Felt more like staying at a friends home. 
Great location, steps from the night market. 
I would stay here again, no question.

Great Place to Stay

This place is very great location, just next to the night market neqr the Church and Mekong river. The owner is French Niko is very nice, kind and very helpful. I love the outdoor bath room it's just like a warterfall and the bed is very comfortable. 

Important note:  there is a deposit 500baht or 15usd for keys lost damage things inside the room or spoil the bed by make up or spoil by something  very hard to clean out that can be a permanent stain.

Great place

Spoilt my stay in Laos.The owner is not nice man he will not give deposits back as he said towels where dirty all he had to do was to wash them he was very rude and had not had this problem any where else.The rooms were hot and no fridge in room.For the price he charge I expect cool rooms and fridge in room.It had a spiral staircase which not suitable for old people or children it was struggle to get suitcase up the stairs.All I can say I will not be going back and my advice is to stay away from this place not a nice place and very a horrible owner

booked all 3 rooms , air con in 2 rooms very poor , and in 1 room non exsistent , no fridge in any room and bathroom was to be shared by all 3 rooms , only good thing was location , not at all happy , deposit paid 500 baht and rooms all paid in advance.me and my girlfriend booked out a day early , asked for deposit back only to be told there were stains on white towels , th man is a very rude & arrogant tand i would never reccomend  this place to my worst enemy

The French owner nico is a con man and a thief. He claimed our deposit 500 baht for make up on the towels for everybody who stayed there including a man staying on his own This is a con.one of the room has no air con its impossible to sleep in there is no fridge in the room so no cold water. DON'T TRUST THIS HOTEL you have been warned good location worst service I have ever received

Do not stay here

An old house with blue blinds, a beautiful decoration and a warm welcome from Nicolas helped me to love this quiet little town. You'll be two steps from the night market for dinner at night. Don't forget to ask Nicolas to show you the secret places to discover. I had three very pleasant days. For me the must c is the outdoor shower installed by Nicolas. It's a great Lao souvenir. I hope to go back someday...

Exceptional

Nice experience, very clean, the pushy climate works well despite the 37o outside, temperature from April to February. 3ch, 2sdb common, the coolest outside. Bemool: live music in the street and around until midnight. Patron a nothing condescending or arrogant if you only spend one night, because you don't live in Savannakhet... he prefers the bobbo road. We walked 9km in the city there is nothing more to see than a colony architecture ruined in the 1930s, and a necessary step down the road from Luang Prabang, Vientiane.

Great rooms, good mattresses, great service, best location!!! From Vivanouk you can explore the old town, experience the market and visit good bears!!! It's time to walk through the streets of the city, let the French architecture affect you and watch the children play... Nico gives you great tips and is very friendly and open-minded.
