A place to meet nature and oneself.The cabins start with the concept of disconnecting from the world so that you can only chat with yourself or your companions away from technology, as well as give yourself the opportunity to hear the noises of the night.Walking down the trails is magical, charging and full of life, you can stay listening to birds and insects in the different places conditioned for it.The food is good, the lady in charge of the kitchen has a special spoon.It's worth escaping and giving yourself the chance to meet and maybe have the chance to talk to don Walter and learn about life and a thousand other things.

Nature and life recharging their energy.

We loved our one night at Espino Blanco. We arrived late and reception was super easy, they took our order for dinner. The staff was amazing. The chairs at the bar are super fun! Things you should know: rain on the tin roof is loud, food is about 6700 colones per main plate, we were one of two couples staying, cabins have lamps only. We like to camp and hike and so this was super cool to us. It is rustic, but we are into that. We found the place to be super clean with way less bugs than anticipated despite being in the jungle. Cabin was huge. Free parking, free breakfast, absolutely beautiful, wish we could have stayed longer than one night. 

Amazing night 

Location is lovely if you want to be in contact with nature. Cabins are in the jungle which is nice, however they are not that clean and look abandoned as well as every part of their buildings, inside roads, outside chairs totally broken, so there's almost nothing in good condition.
It was not that nice to be in the dark from 17:00 to the next day even you are provided with some rechargeable lamps there is almost nothing you can do with that kind of light. Any kind of other lights (candles) are forbidden, also to bring something to eat is forbidden even when there are not many near options to eat and their restaurant as you can read in everybody's reviews is deficient. Towels and bedding clothing are totally wore out so if you still want to go bring your own. 

Wonderful natural reserve 

The road to the lodge is awful so make sure you have a 4x4, no English speaking staff, no electricity in cabins but there are plug sockets in restaurant area. The place is beautiful, no doubt about that, cabin was spacious and clean, hot water but the 2 huge, I mean huge spiders we had to evict was just a bit too close to nature than we would of liked! It rained the whole time too and stuff constantly falling onto the cabin roof (tin roof) was just too noisy!! If you love really getting into the wild though then this the place for you!

For nature lovers

The lamps were discharged, the little balcony has not any chair, as well the front of the room. The place was not clean, the rooms has not any view to mountains.  I can not imagine sleeping in that dark room.

We prefer to lost the stay, than sleep there.

A while ago, I went to spend a night with my husband, but we had the unpleasant situation of a couple getting out of control and spending the whole night shouting pleasure and there was no one in the administration available to control such a show, all the guests were on guard because at night they left a guard for the whole hotel and the next day we complained but they didn't even pay attention, besides it's a very cold place and the saunas and cobijas are humid and it's difficult to get into the heat because they don't have a fireplace.

Zero security is required.

A place to disconnect from stress and technology to enjoy life as it should be.Beautiful restaurant and facilities hand in hand with nature, worth knowing and enjoying the environment.

Hermoso is the name of the game.

It's a wonderful place sorrounded by nature,, cabins are nature friendly no electricity and they have rechargeable lights. It's the perfect place to get away from the city ande be relax. Breakfast is good but a litlle bit small and no variety, despite is delicious. Highly recomended

Amazing!!!!

Cottages surrounded by nature. A fantastic place to enjoy!!! A simple hotel to enjoy the silence and darkness of the night, the adventures of the day!

Nature is the 100th!

The beautiful trails (although the longest is not low-level, so to speak), walking along them and seeing footprints and animal footprints, impressive. The very good food, it was noted, was prepared a-hand with sauces made from scratch with good taste. Nothing more to be prepared, many insects, even a few spiders in the cabin, but it was to be expected, being in the jungle, that repellent and shoes would be necessary to carry.
