La Buena Vida Cabinas

this has become one of my favorite spots. i’m so happy i booked this place for some beach R&R. it was the perfect mix between super private + close to everything. the beach was minutes away, and there was great food within walking distance. the pictures don’t do the place justice - the bed is massive and i’ve never slept better. the AC, TV, fan, fridge, kitchen appliances, and Wi-Fi worked fantastic, and it was easy to keep the place cool + airy. The pool you step out to from your room in the courtyard feels private and has a great vibe. it’s clean, refreshing for mid-day sun and there’s nice sitting areas with some lovely plants. i was lucky enough to experience some afternoon rain showers, and a beautiful sunset on the beach - and the area was lush and cooled down in the evenings. the beach was exactly as i remembered it - white sandy beaches, great sun and waves. the host is super down-to-earth, friendly, and went out of their way to make me feel welcome, and safe since I travelled alone, all while respecting my privacy. they took care of all my needs - and then some, recommending me local trails for running and other tips. i can’t wait to be back + try the pizza - this time for longer. i absolutely recommend this place!! ☆☆☆☆☆
