My boyfriend and I rented a chalet in June, and we absolutely loved it. The location is fairly quiet, making it a perfect escape. We stayed on the top floor, which included a sauna in our room—such a treat!

The chalet offers rooms with jacuzzis and various amenities like a ping pong table and boat rentals, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The little beach nearby was a lovely bonus.

If you want to use the hot tubs, make sure to book your slot. We were fortunate enough to spend as much time as we wanted there when it wasn't busy.

Overall, we had a fantastic time and are planning to return soon. Highly recommend this place!

Fantastic Getaway love this place !

Stayed there for 2 nights this past week and had such an awesome time! It's definitely not cheap at $1,000 (cad) for 2 nights, but it's well worth it in the end. Our host (owner) Diana was so welcoming, friendly, professional, and made us feel like part of her family right away.

The location is ideal, directly on "Lake of the trout," with a ton of amenities/activities to choose from. They have kayaks, "chaloupes", "pédalos", and paddle games. There's also an indoor pool and plenty of parking spaces.

The "chalet" we were in, Ezeras, was beautiful and well equipped. The upstairs had two ensuite bedrooms, and downstairs, we had the kitchen, dining room, as well as an extra full bathroom. We even had a private balcony from one of the bedrooms upstairs, as well as our own spa.

Overall, this is a fantastic place to stay, especially for location and amenities. Diana truly cares for every guest coming thru her door, and she'll do all she can to make your stay as smooth as possible! Merci pour un super séjour! 😀

Phenomenal Stay!

What an amazing view of the lake from our clean, well furnished chalet.  We enjoyed the deck hot tub, indoor sauna and indoor fireplace.  The hostess was incredibly kind and attentive to our expectations of the surrounding area.  The bed was new, comfortable and super clean. Loved our experience.  We will be back!

Fall getaway to St Agathe

We stayed over a weekend in one of the chalets and both the place and the service and owners were absolutely wonderful.  The chalet was modern, clean and had every service you could imagine or need.  They had an in room sauna and a hot tub on the deck, both very comfortable for 2 of us.  The view of the lake from the deck and through the spacious windows was fantastic. The nearby scenery, restaurants and sites to see were great and we made the most of them.  The host Diana was so very warm and helpful and took good care of us.  We will definitely return and spend more time at these chalets and I would highly recommend it to anyone that wants a private, relaxing time away in the Canadian countryside.

Amazing fall getaway at mountain chalets

The place is amazing, and the chalets are very nice and comfy, the only problem was the overpricing and CHEATING, yes Cheating.
They charged us extra for not washing the dishes etc. which was a completely lie!! As I’m personally washed all the dishes by hand before putting them into the dishwasher!
As I read other reviews about that place, I found an interesting thing that everyone complaining about the same thing- dirty dishes charges. I would guess that the owners found another way to increase the income…would never go back to that place again and would not recommend it to anyone.


Disappointment

We came here with friends and our first impression was that the place is very nice
We were happy with our stay till a couple of days after checkout when we discovered that we were charged additional fee for not clean enough dishes.
We cleaned all dishes using dishwasher and we were eating non cooked food only so definitely were not using any pots. But we were accused of leaving greasy pots in the kitchen. 
I am disappointed with the owners who choose to charge additional fees with such an excuse. Definitely not going to recommend this place to friends.

Not going to recommend this place

We booked the chalet for many good reviews here. We had no complaint about the room and the location is fine, the lake isn’t as stunning as imagined but the stay was relaxing. However we had the worst check-in experience with the receptionist called Joanne who treated us like elementary school students that we had to obey all her rules, that we were not allowed to ask questions about the facilities because we should have done our homework by reading carefully their emails before we arrived; and we were told to wear a paper bracelet throughout our stay without taking it off even in the shower or at sleep because she won’t give us a new one, and if we don’t wear it “all the time”, she said we can “only stay in our rooms” and have no access to facilities outside the room. And she didn't believe to wear a paper bracelet to sleep or shower can cause any discomfort as "everyone did it and it is never an issue" so we should just follow the rules. Confused and felt being treated like prisoners, I still managed to control myself and tried to leave the check-in place in silence. Then she yelled “oh my god!” to my back before I was able to leave the room, as I "gave her an attitude" for I didn't THANK HER ridiculous treatment. I ended up going back to have a fight with her, which was exactly what she wanted since the moment we walked in. And her poor attitude to me didn’t change at all the next day. I wanted to give zero star for this unexpected experience but after spoken to the owner Dianne I give two stars as she showed understanding to the situation, however she said "things went wrong on both sides", meaning I should never had the fight with the receptionist no matter how poorly I was treated? I went there for a vacation not a fight or the stress that I went through. I’m sharing it here as I believe all potential guests deserve to know. Service is always more important than rooms.

Shall I expect poor customer service just because it is a chalet??

We returned to this resort because of the very positive experience we had a couple of years ago. 
We were very excited that the fully equipped "Ezeras" chalet was available, This 2 bedroom, 3 bath unit was not only super comfortable but immaculate. (This is not your granny's cottage but an upscale compact cozy chalet.)  The exterior hot tub was a welcomed relief after a day biking the petit train du nord an easy 3km away.
The staff are super professional and extremely helpful .

This resort offers many different chalet configurations complimented by its lovely beach area with lots of watercraft.
Awesome location for a family reunion or conference.

This resort would be perfect for a family or group reunions because of the different chalet configurations. It's proximity to Montreal and the ski hills, bike and hiking trails, restaurants and local spas, is a definite plus..

Laurentians Revisited

It was definitely overpriced. Our unit was advertised as Entire chalet and it wasn't. It was the second floor only. Plenty rules on the site. I'm surprised breathing is allowed. Moreover, we have to pay extra for a pedalo and canoe that's normally supposed to be for free. Pedalo we rented was broken. One of the seats was popping out all the time. We stayed 5 days, when we left, we cleaned all dishes, even vacuumed the day before. The host lied later on saying we left all dirty and they couldn't clean. I don't know what for.She just probably doesn't want any young clients. We respected all their stupid rules. We even did the garbage for a room we payed 280$/night. NEVER again!! Don't sell us a hotel room, call it a CHALET and then ask us to clean after ourselves.  (And we clearly saw that you  have a housecleaning team of three people cleaning a room across us and under us)

I found this Chalet last minute and couldn't have been more pleased. We stayed in Chalet #96 and it was perfect. It was very clean and quite fancy. There is a fireplace, a pool table, sauna, and hot tub. We didn't use the sauna but the hot tub was awesome.  The chalets are very close to town but have that nature feel. Grocery and restaurants only a few minutes away and the restaurants deliver here. I have already booked my next trip for my wedding anniversary in January.
