We spent the night of June 6-7, 2021 there. We asked for a quiet room as far away from the traffic and surrounding noise as possible and got what we were looking for with room 30 which has no balcony but is far from the festive and potential atmosphere next to the hotel restaurant or the Goofy. We paid $82.00 all taxes included which is about $70.00 as the basic rate which is more than reasonable for Quebec City reputed to be expensive in the area. We got a wifi room that worked well. The room was clean. We got a double room that was clean and comfortable. We got a small reception room and a bed-and-breakfast in the hotel room.

A very satisfying night at a very low price

The old room, 2 power outlets, the water in the shower goes hot, cold, hot and cold, nothing to make it a little coffee in the morning... the lighting that must be from the 60s doesn't work... and how about the decor! Even if the room isn't so expensive ((85$) We'd like a sober decor in the daylight! And what about mattresses, pillows and old covers...ZERO CONFORT! We expect a minimum of comfort!

A great need for renovation and getting used to it!

Very well located near all the very clean services with TV, microwave, mini fridge with balcony to socialize at a reasonable price, goofy restaurant which is located in the same courtyard with a very good menu at an average price of 14.95 including soup and dessert and coffee and really very good with impeccable service (a pretty little blonde served us professionally and very kindly) I recommend this motel.

One-night stop on the motorcycle

Positive points: Close proximity to a 24-hour restaurant. The hotel is easy to access and easy to find (on the main road). Mini-fridge in the room. Quiet environment, little traffic. Large free parking. Adequate soundproofing of the rooms. Negative points: Lighting of the bathroom above the mirror and ventilation starting automatically with lighting.

It's the perfect step to rest on a road trip.

For my second visit to Alma I went to the motel L'Avenue du Pont for 2 nights which I particularly liked. Well located in the heart of the restaurants, service station and shopping centre with a supermarket. This motel really impressed me with its cleanliness in the rooms, balconies and terrain. A microwave and a white and very clean mini fridge. The Goofy restaurant is located on the same ground as the motel and is open 24 hours so it is in this restaurant that the room reservation service is done in the off season because the motel reception was closed. The beds are comfortable and there is no noise from neighbors and the street price. The price of returning to Goofy Restaurant is very nice and we eat and we are more reasonable. I recommend this place for people to return to the hotel with the most economical amenities. I recommend the hotel and the TV station.

Pleasantly surprised

We just wanted a place to sleep, and that's what we got, and the Wi-Fi signal was amazingly good, a little fridge and microwave, a nice motel, and I would go back to it, not in a great area, but safe and full of services around.

Bed to sleep

We had chosen the motel on Bridge Avenue for the ONLY reason that they had promised us a 3-bed double room this time! And when we arrived, the good room commissioner gave us the keys without mentioning anything and when we entered the room, it was not obvious that we would find something to accommodate a family of 6. And when we bring mattresses to the floor in 2-bed rooms, there was always the war over who would sleep on the mattresses. I had promised the children that they would all come tomorrow in a real bed this time! And when we arrived, the good room commissioner gave us the keys without mentioning anything and when we entered the room, we found that there was something to be seen in a regular room with 2 double beds and a small bed on the floor, but when we brought in mattresses, there was always the war over who would sleep on the mattresses. We went back to see it after the night to tell the boss that we would have slept on the mattresses.

We didn't get what we wanted

Check-in has the old, big key, nice staff. 90s decor basic room, have to go to the restaurant across the street for ice cream (it's the restaurant that takes you gives you a room if you arrive after the reception closes) Very clean place.

All right, all right.

El Motel is located very close to some of Canada's lakes.It has standard rooms with good internet connectivity.In my view it does not include breakfast as do other Motels in the area.A positive point is that it has many restaurants nearby and in its own it is not a bad dinner.
