Mission Creek Country Inn

A country inn conveniently located not far from town, Mission Creek was a pleasant stop for me and my husband on the drive home from interior BC. We arrived in the evening after a long drive and found the place very homely instantly. After dinner, we simply unwinded at the fireplace. There was a great selection of books ranging from Pushkin to Swedish Folk Tales. They used to have animals on the land, but they are gone now. We bought one of the last few remaining sheep skins from them and we are very satisfied with the quality and the price. It is our best souvenir from our trip in fact! Mark prepared breakfast for us and he said after eating the food, my cold will be gone and he is right! He also showed us his scrapbook with pictures of projects in and around the 1905 heritage house, including saving it from being dismantled and moving it from its original site to his land. They used to hold arts and crafts workshops too as can be seen from the stained glass and artworks scattered around the house. All in all, we really enjoyed our brief stay at the inn and will definitely stay there again the next time we are in Kelowna.
