We've got the best possible room in this family hotel – a corner room #6 with a sea, garden and mountain view all at the same time. It's huge balcony gives a breathtaking flying feeling, especially when birds soar near your head. The building is located high up on a mountain in a tangerine garden. Birds sing, mountain river purls under the balcony, even jackals cry at night (rarely! don't be afraid). Trip to and from the sea is very beautiful with all sorts of feathery, insects, snails and bright gardens around you. A fruit seller and little supermarket (25 meters on a highway in Batumi direction) are in 10 minute walk from the hotel. Guram and Eteri, the owners of this hotel, are the most hospitable people. Eteri is a kitchen goddess, we highly recommend to order her breakfasts (the best khachapuri we've tried in Georgia!) and dinners. She bakes wonderfully and kindly shares the recipe. Lobio, mchadi, chizhi-bizhi – all homemade Georgian cuisine in one place! So delicate and honest, Guram, Eteri, their daughter Kati, the dog Sanni and the cat Vaso made us feel like a family. I was so very sad to leave, I will miss our talks a lot. We hope to come back in less than a year. P.S.: trip to and from the sea can be hard for some elderly people and families with little kids. The positive thing it's very beautiful and do not take too much time (12 minutes walk).
