This was my first stay in Punta Cana and I loved it. The property staff were helpful and attentive. There was a language barrier, but overall the property was amazing. Rafael and Maya from concierge were extremely helpful. The only downside of the property was the mosquitoes in the room. I kept getting bit, but that did not change my experience. I will definitely be back.

I loved my stay at playa plamera. The reviews don’t do this resort justice. Everything was fantastic and I will be staying there again.

Very well maintained and clean property. Good and friendly staff. However, only a few can speak English. It was a bit difficult to communicate with the cleaning staff but we were able to manage. Beach is just a few mins walk. Would definitely recommend!

Resort was not crowded, beach was nice and plenty of swimming pools. Tesort has courtesy carts to pick you up and transport you to beach or main shop area.

I had an amazing experience at this hotel. From the moment we arrived the staff was super friendly and always ready to help with anything we needed. The room was clean and really comfortable which made our stay even better. I would definitely come back without a second thought. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a warm and quality place to stay

We enjoyed the penthouse apartment. The staff was very friendly. Rafael the concierge was so helpful and very quick to respond to every request. The transport drivers were fun and friendly. The food was delicious. Coco Mar restaurant at the beach served a variety of delicious meals. The beach was amazing.

Value for money. We needed extra service and called the Resorts many times beforehand but The Manager didn’t picked the phone. When we arrived, we tried to speak to some to help us last minute but it seems most of the staff are a bit overworked and got too much to handle. However,  BIG THANKS to the (Curacao) Lady at the reception for her excellent customer service. Went overboard to see us happy, answered all the questions with smiles and always friendly whilst under pressure, your company is lucky to have you. Thank you to Jefferson as well for looking after us, such a lovely professional guy. I appreciate you both.

Value for money

The apartment was great and the staff was excellent.Always a large golf cart going by which always asked if you needed a ride to the beach, etc. And the staff was not pushy for tips, as in some places. They realize you are there to have fun, and do not want to think of tipping every time you get a ride or directions.The restaurants are a bit expensive, but they have good family priced options too…a chicken place that was nice and pizza, etc.Very secure, with guards patrolling.The beach was nice, with enough beach chairs and umbrellas (no cost).Beware of some rocky areas in the water…Macao beach water/sand is better, but you have too many people trying to sell you stuff.Biggest issue is that it is far from Punta Cana.As well, you need from 20-60 minutes to get to any excursions…We did a Buggy ride through the mud to the Macao beach, which was fun, but no Ubers would come to get us…Finally talked to a staff member getting off work, and he took us back to make some cash.All in all this place is very nice, but be reminded of the distance, etc.

Palmera Beach resort is new and a really great place. We had a roof top apartment. The apartment was very clean except the jaccusi wich was not clan and contain a lot of sand. There was also very low water pressure in the showers.There is continusles bus transport to the beach (5 min walk), and the beach is super nice, and also the restaurant and bar. The best beach I have been to in DR.Some of the employer are slow to fiks ting, and the daily cleaning is not impressive.

5 days at Palmera Beach

security is beyond excellent, the people are incredible! the only thing i thought was odd is that you have to pay a  deposit for electricity. but it is refunded to you at  the end of your stay. this is if you don't abuse the usage such as running the ac with the windows open ect.  i highly recommend this place

Truly amazing place.The checkin process was very fast.The accommodation is in excellent condition.The staff was very helpful, they even gave us coffee from their own, because the coffee shop was closed at 7 AM.Private back area with bar and restaurant.Several other restaurants to choose from in the area.Many thanks to all the staff!

The water does not get hot often they have a box they say controls the temperature but its a hit and miss either one shower will get lukewarm and the other would be cold  or they would both be cold i stayed 1 week and I think 3 times it may have been just right.  Everything else was cool but honestly I don't play when it comes to Hot showers its a huge necessity for me!

This was our second time at Playa Palmera because we had such a good experience the first time back in June 2023.  And the second stay did not disappoint, helpful, friendly staff that was aways available. Although, shopping, dining and the beach was close by, there was always a driver offering to give you a ride to where you were going.  There was a feel good community vibe from the staff and guests.  My wife and I look for to our next stay.  Loved it! ❤️ 😍
