Kyriad Hotel Shangxiajiu Branch

Spent a day here during a flight transit on a China Southern flight. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. The receptionists had passable English proficiency, but the rest of the staff didn't. Inspite of that they were very helpful and accommodating when I needed to use Google translate to communicate. It worked surprisingly well too. Had little to no difficulty. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and the rooms were clean and well stocked with all necessary amenities. The bathroom with the glass window to the bedroom shocked me a little, but thank heavens for the automatic shutters that you can use to create the wall of privacy needed. On the plus side, if you're staying alone or with a partner, then you can watch TV from the bathroom 🤷😂
