The worst hotel I've ever been to, it's absolutely a shame, the entrance is clean but don't be fooled, first of all, it's the cigarette that's soaked up to the wall that's going to blow your face, then in the rooms, it's just the flowering of horrors, it's all about blood on the walls, the moulded joints, the bell holes on the carpet, the mites and the suspicious liquids in various places in the room. So you absolutely have to avoid it, especially if your vaccines aren't up to date... the only point is breakfast but when you drink the rooms you get the hygiene requirements in the kitchen.

Shameful, horrible

We were surprised to find dirty rooms because the housekeeping had not been done and assumed because there was not enough time... dirty and poorly maintained hotel rooms in one state rarely seen... bcp of nasty finds under the beds.

It's a shame

The Dabao Hotel is quite stylish in itself and we liked it very well - if it hadn't been too cold in all the rooms! Unfortunately, it is only from mid-November that it is possible to heat up in Beijing - at an outside temperature of less than 10°C. It was therefore anything but nice to come to an unheated hotel, where the temperature in the rooms was also extremely low. Too bad, otherwise the rooms were nice and mostly clean! We felt somewhat negative about the language skills of the reception staff, as some employees really barely understood a word of English. Besides, the seats at breakfast were very limited and since we were a group of 20 travelers on the way, some had no way to get a seat directly below.

In winter only satisfactory, in summer well

On a group trip to Beijing, I stayed two nights at the dabao hotel.The room looked right but looking in the details....the fridge was dirtier than locked in a furniture causing overheating.The bathroom was very dirty and didn't seem to be cleaned.

What to Avoid

The facilities and the condition of the hotel is good. But it is not located in the center of Beijing and difficult to get the taxis sometimes. There are a few convenient shops/spas/banks available around the hotel. 10-15min walking distance to the closest subway station. Food is purely Chinese and very difficult to cope up with. Friendly staff but not speaking English much.

Good Hotel but Location is not very Convenient!

The bathroom shower was losing water, which fed the bathroom. Behind the sink faucet there was a thick layer of dirt that was never removed, even a lid of an interior tube that remained there for days. Moquette stained everywhere in the room. On arrival we had to request that at least water bottles be provided in the room, since the old refrigerator was empty. Lacking international breakfast, only Chinese dishes.
