Stayed here for 3 nights, ridiculously low fares for a good value and acceptable service. The rooms were surprisingly clean and safe. Be prepared; the staff is not professional in English, however you will be able to get over it with them. It is about 10 mins. from the airport by Taxi. (You should fetch a taxi to here as it is next to the highway.) The other option to call their free shuttle service. If you know in Chinese, you will get that after your arrival, if not, you will be able to hop on in every hour at the hotel's entrance. It is really convenient. As I could see there is nothing much to access from there (maybe some small locals or shops), however from the AP you can get to anywhere (especially via the Airport Express).

Good value

Do not be taken in by the pictures of this hotel which were probably taken when it was brand new. I missed my flight out of Beijing and the hotel was recommended to me by the tourist information desk. Unfortunately I arrived there late at night so I couldn't change my mind because I don't speak any Chinese so wouldn't have been able to get a taxi back. It is cheap and entering it you can immediately understand why. The carpet and furniture are faded and should have been thrown out a long time ago. There is no restaurant as claimed. The corridor and room were smelly and worst of all there were mosquitoes and other insects in the room. The Wifi was terrible. Not recommended.

Dirty hotel

Please don't stay here.

We attempted to get to this hotel from the airport and found it almost impossible. We asked about ten different taxi drivers to take us there and all refused until eventually we agreed to pay a ridiculous fare out of desperation.

When we had finally arrived, we handed over our reservation only to be told that they did not have our booking saved on their computer.

Despite our offered proof and the fact that we had ALREADY PAID we told a simple "no" multiple times until our persistence won through.

We were given a horrible twin room instead of the double we had paid for. There was blood on the sheets of one bed and dirt all over the place. Furthermore I was eaten alive by a mosquito in the night.

Please do not choose this hotel.

Awful service and difficult to get to.

Staying at Beijing Airlines Hotel was the worst hotel experience I have had anywhere, and I am no stranger to traveling around Asia. This hotel is technically 10 minutes away from the airport, but good luck getting there. We spoke to at least 10 taxi drivers at the airport. They each took one look at the Chinese address and either turned us down outright or told us they would charge us ridiculous rates to go there (between $20-$100 US dollars!). One taxi driver finally agreed to take us using his meter, but then had no idea where the hotel was and drove us in the wrong direction for 20 minutes. He tried calling the hotel number provided by Trip Advisor several times, but it just rang and rang.

He gave up and just kicked us out of the taxi miles from the airport. We were forced to pay him and then pay another taxi driver 100 yuan (~$20) to take us to the hotel. 

Finally we arrived and I handed over my hotel voucher printed from Trip Advisor. The woman behind the desk pretended she didn't speak English (although she did) and simply told us "no." 

By this point we were beyond annoyed. We'd already paid for a room and had the proof right there but she was trying to kick us out with no explanation. We had to argue for 10 minutes before she even started up the computer (which was shut down despite it only being 7pm). Clearly they had made a mistake and overbooked but not once did they try to explain or apologize. They didn't even offer to refund us, they just wanted us to leave. 

Finally after we absolutely refused to go, they put us in a room. (The woman suddenly spoke English). I had paid for a King room but we were put into a filthy twin room. It smelled, there was mold everywhere, nothing was clean, and there was fresh blood stains on the sheets. 

It was a terrible way to spend our last night in Beijing and it was a true nightmare. I don't know how this place has a single good review, but PLEASE do not stay here!
