The staff is friendly an helpful.quick to fix any issues. The rooms are clean an extra linens are always available. I will come back again there are small things  that can be  fixed but overall a excellent experience

The worst motel ever very dirty rooms tv did not work I booked for 3 nights but checked out early the blankets had cigarette burns the shower was nasty I wouldn’t recommend it even for a night sleep it’s very disgusting don’t let the pictures fool you very very nasty motel I would rate it a 0 if I could…

The homeless, druggies, and hookers are rampid at this motel. It's disgustingly dirty and customer service is even worse. On the bright side, if you need drugs or hugs for hire or don't have a place to stay, they got you...

Worst Motel 6 goes to San Bernardino

I’m going to preface this by saying you generally know what you’re getting with a Motel 6. It’s not going to be anything amazing but it will be a cheap night in a hotel with relatively basic amenities. Having said this, this was the worst motel 6 I’ve stayed in. 

We had booked our stay online for a nonsmoking 2 bed room with special notes saying we have a pet. We were notified over email we had been changed to a smoking room which we accepted as non ideal but was ok. 

Upon arriving onsite we started by entering a packed lobby around 4pm, a bit of a wait, and once through the process of providing ID and ect were notified at the end of the process that the room wouldn’t be ready for another hour. Now, please keep in mind that we have a pet in our car (as previously specified in our reservation) who isn’t used to the 100+ degree heat outside. 

Now this is when we had encountered an unusual instruction. If you book this location according to the front desk, San Bernardino county requires you have to provide photo ID for each person receiving a key card for the room (fine) AND provide a 50$ cash deposit that is given back only on visual inspection of the room upon checkout. Later when we did checkout we had to wait as the one person at the front desk walked all the way back to the room to check it and then return the cash deposit. 

When we entered the room it had a rather distinct sour smell to it, which we later realized shouldn’t have come as a major surprise given we discovered it is just down the street from a pot shop (and was directly across from a bail bondsman). The front desk offered to spray the room more if it was too bad, so clearly they’re masking the smell to some extent. 

The room itself had sheets / comforters with holes in them (cigarette burns?) but otherwise passed initial visual inspection. It did seem well frequented with marks on the bathroom door and other surfaces, and it was very small for your average motel 6 room with 2 beds. However later that night after having wandered around the room without shoes on I discovered my feet were covered in dust and grime and were black! I genuinely wish I had taken a photo to share it here. Around this time my cat wandered behind the headboard and uncovered a dirty solo cup and herself had very dirty paws. 

Based on the cleanliness alone, my recommendation is pick another motel 6 if you’re looking for a cheap hotel for the night.

Had to find a room last minute, the front desk clerk Deleena was extremely helpful finding me a room that accommodated my needs. The wait was short and the rooms were beautiful! Thanks deleena and staff for making my stay enjoyable!

I really love the staff and the condition of the rooms definitely I’ll go back. And the HHK she is really helpful with our necessities and the cleanliness of the rooms. Thanks to Ian I could check in earlier.

I’ve booked a room here several times. In the last few years they have upgraded all of their rooms. It matches the same standard decor as all Motel 6. The staff is amazing, Angie is always super helpful and accommodating.

Great Staff and Low Prices

This motel was the absolute worst.  I travel extensively for work.  I'm in a hotel nearly 300 days a year.  Never have I come across one like this.  

They have a ridiculous set or rules you have to agree to in order to be permitted to stay.  Even though the rules forbid it, people are up and outside hooting and hollering all hours of the night.  Next, at about 6 AM the housekeepers start screeching to each other in Spanish outside and dragging their 6,000lb metal carts past every room.  Add all that up, and good luck sleeping.  Judging by the number of crackheads in the parking lot, I'm thinking not many people visit this motel to sleep.  

As I cherish my sleep, in an effort to deter the housekeepers, I placed my own "do not disturb" sign on the door, as the hotel does not provide one.  Management took my sign, without my knowledge or consent, and placed it in the main office.  Upon retrieving it I'm told that such signs are not allowed and per the property manager my room WILL be cleaned at least once every 3 days - whether I want it or not.  Never before have I encountered such nonsense.  The hotel manager completely ignoring a guest's wishes to peace and quite and privacy because they want to.  

I managed to fend the housekeepers off most days, bu they did sneak in one day when I was gone and moved absolutely everything around, throwing away important business documents in the process.  The housekeeper also stole belongings from inside of my suitcase - items that were buried inside and not just laying on top.  I brought this to the attention of the front desk, surprisingly they didn't care.  

I'm told the "housekeeping whether you want it or not" policy is to keep the property clean, yet there were roaches in my room -- so they might want to come up with a better and less intrusive policy.

The staff are rude and useless.  The management have policies contrary to those of normal hotels.  My fellow hotel residents were loud and obnoxious, most were drug addicts.  This place is rough, rude, annoying, and not a hotel to stay at if you want to sleep.  If you are a crackhead, however, this hotel is for you -- come be with your people!

PS: Motel 6 Quality Assurance Team - Don't leave your cookie-cutter "we're sorry" response here.  You're not.  And I don't want to hear your lies.

OMG!  The words Dumpster Fire come to mind.  Run!

If you want a decent night's sleep, this is not the hotel for you. Between the bad neighborhood and the management's total disregard for all of their customers needs, this is by far the worst place we have ever stayed in. When I complained to the desk clerk upon checking out, all I was told was that there was some RAVE concert in town and was a given a shrug.  Really? I didn't know the RAVE concert was occurring outside of our bedroom. I must have missed the fine print. STAY AWAY!!!

Not worth the savings

We stayed 2 of the longest nights of my life. We had booked online so had no idea what awaited us there . It was a constant worry the ENTIRE TIME . If you have family and / or kids stay away from this area as it is dangerous! There are homeless people EVERYWHERE .  They were searching ( cops ) and arresting hookers outside right beside our car ! Omg ! There were men with flashing masks on drugged out of their minds in and out yelling at us when they saw us . One lady even yelled at me that I was standing in her spot or something like that when I was getting my clothes out of the vehicle . There was no bath only a shower and the room was filthy not to mention we paid like 100 bucks per night. Just shy of it. The floor was so nasty when you walked your feet would stick to it and make a crackling noise with every step! I kept something to defend myself with in my hands the ENTIRE weekend and the San Bernardino police dept pulled up on messenger JUST IN CASE. We have left in a situation like this once in Nebraska after only an hour or so but due to already booking for the ENTIRE weekend we toughed it out . Housekeeping could barely speak English although she did seem kind. She took my towels and said she would bring more when those were washed as they didn't have more then but she never returned the entire stay! It's basic and I mean extreme basic here but that's not the problem the problem is the crowd surrounding the property. I pray you'll take heed to this warning .  That's one more dangerous area to be in ....we travel months at a time and stay on the road. I am experienced in this area . You shouldn't even attempt it with family or children. Just thankful to have made it out of the area . I understand that certain types of people can really change the dynamics of an area and sometimes it's due to no control of the establishment but I'm almost even shocked that a motel will at this point allow their name to be associated with such a dangerous place . The police are seen constantly on premises so they are definitely aware and trying to do their part but the managers or whatever of this motel NEED to REALLY STEP IT UP because it was obvious that alot of the thugs aka pimps, drug dealers and etc ARE LIVING THERE on site!!!!!
