It’s okay for the price.  It was clean, owners were feiwndlyand rooms inside comfortable but I wouldn’t stay here again as non smoking isn’t really non smoking .  They have smoking stations between every room with chairs and you end up with random people sat outside your room smoking.  Your room ends up smelling of smoke anyway!  Better to have smoking or non smoking rooms !!  We constantly had a woman who said she lived upstairs sat outside our room smoking - she was pleasant enough but it felt weird knowing she was sat by our door.  If you are a smoker and don’t mind then this is a good option for you.

Okay … but …

This was by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. We had spent several hours on the road, it was 9:30pm and just needed a place to sleep. No other hotels were available. The bathroom sink had 2 inches of standing water in it which had chunks of debris floating in it. The table had crusty remains of food on it as did one of the bed stands. When we pulled back the covers to both beds, we found multiple hairs. Two of the pillow cases were stained with blood. In addition to the blood, one of them had dirt and yellow stains on it. One of the other pillow cases was stained as well but didn’t have blood. The bathtub also had a hair in it. There was a layer of dust on all surfaces. Do not stay here if you can avoid it. It was truly disgusting.

worst hotel I've ever stayed in

We came here on a hot day and the fetid basement of a hotel room was even worse that expected. At $55 (pre tax) we expected nothing. But this was worse, as the stench of cigarette smoke and dilapidated feel was amplified by the fact the AC did not work. Aside from the key card not working, which seemed to be assumed by the clerk as he just gave us the master key, the room was a room. Had it not been brutally hot, it would have been bad. As it was, it was below bad. Never stay here, ever.

Pretty Much the Worst Hotel Ever

Reserved 2 rooms for a skiing trip to Killington.
Basic Lodging, this is an old hotel in need of updates.
The rooms and upstairs hallway smelled like smoked.
The bed was comfortable, recently new carpet.

Just okay, spend your money elsewhere

I planned a ski trip to Killington in March, on a very short notice and unfortunately could not find any 1 day accommodation below 250 usd for the weekend. Thus had to book a room here, (later wishing I had gone with the expensive option). The room was not clean and had a damp odor. The carpet smelled and we saw a rat in the room! The washroom was in a dilapidated condition and smelling like someone had just smoked in there. I was just glad we were there for a day but I could not sleep at all that night due to the rat scare. They do provide breakfast but it was just a coffee station and a basket of muffins. So far, this motel has been my worst motel experience in the US.

Stay only if you have no other option.

Occasionally I'm in Rutland for business.  I stay here when (a) I'm paying for it myself and (b) I don't need Internet.  The room is basic, pretty clean, and the shower is dependably hot.  I'm good with that.

Adequate Basic Lodging

I don't know what rooms the others have stayed in but #19 was once a smoking room that still smells a bit. The bathroom had loose tiles and if you are tall the shower will be a bit of work. Also might be the shortest toilet I have ever used. (yes I am tall) I could smell smokers from outside through the windows and it is just run down in general. I wish I spent my money elsewhere but was trying to stay with the same hotel group for our trip. All other Choice hotels have been great. 

Spend your money elsewhere 

This location is wonderful! Nice clean, smoke free rooms for a very reasonable price! Every time I have stayed there I'm surprised there aren't more cars in the parking lot! Who wouldn't want to check into a reasonably priced motel and in a room that has a fresh smokeless smell with friendly staff? Its perfect!!

At first glance, everything seemed fine. Cleanliness to be desired. Comfortable beds. The chair was disgusting. No lamp was working except the huge neon ceiling. The bathroom was not clean. And what about continental lunch: bread to roast, one pot of country rock margarine common, hot suri milk unsuitable for consumption. Beans and cheap pastries.

Beurk!!!

Naturally, I didn't expect anything supernatural from an $80 motel, but the reality was beyond my worst fears. There were countless other people's hair in the bed, you didn't even have to look for them - they just popped into your eyes. They offered you for breakfast: sour milk for coffee, a little warm water for brewing tea and rotting bananas. The only thing you could eat were bubbles. But the main nightmare was air conditioning.
