The park is conveniently located nice amenities. The only downside was the mud unfortunately it was the rainy season and getting the RV in and out caused us to get stuck in mud. Sites are very tight. But if you’re going to enjoy the area and not the campground you will be fine

Excellent location

need security on weekends on memorial day weekend the pool was taken over by a family reunion about 35 people all drinking booze at the pool setting up a bar at the pool and basically took over the pool, drinking in the pool with glass bottles these people were not staying at the resort they just showed up also clean up the junk around the park models and fix the rv sites so there level!  i will not stay here again

Sites to close to each other and not much to do onsite. I’ve stayed at other Encore parks and they have not been this way. We were disappointed with our stay. I did not see one employee throughout my stay. 

Disappointed

We enjoyed our stay at the park.  The office was closed for the Memorial Day weekend but the afterhours check in process was easy and lead us right to the site.  The office staff on the phone was great and easy to understand.  Our site was tight, but our neighbors moved some vehicles, and we were able to back in out 40' Motor Homes.  Walmart was next store and Publix was down the street.  We rode our E Bikes to Fort Myers Beach a couple of times.  Safe paths to the beach and easy to get there.  Straight down San Carlos Boulevard.  I would recommend this park to anyone!

Great Park for a stay in Fort Myers - Near Beach

I picked this RV resort because of its location close to the beaches. I was surprised to see a lot of permanent type structures in the resort. It didn't seem to really have a lot of travel trailer sites. It was all good. Restroom facilities and pool area were very clean. 

Location a plus

My husband and I stayed at Gulf Air RV Resort in the month of January. It was a little tight getting in our site but an employee named Dewayne helped us get in and  showed us all the hook up locations. He even came back later to see if we needed anything. We were having trouble with the cable TV and he had to make a new cable caused the old one had a bad connection.  You sure don't get customer service like this from other RV Campground employees. Dewayne is definitely a keeper.

Great Stay

Nice very clean RV Resort. Very nice and friendly staff. Resort is close to the beach and restaurants. Had a nice stay while working during the day and enjoying the beach in the afternoon.  Would stay hear again without hesitation.

The grounds and amenities were well kept and well runed. The staff was very courteous and friendly. Great. location close to markets and beach. The only drawback was the size of the sites. they were very narrowed it felt very crowed.

Very clean and friendly park.  You can walk to the Walmart next door and Aldis is not far.  The stop for the trolley to the beach is right across the street and only cost 75 cents one way for one person.  The only issue we had is the campground is very tight with one-way streets.

Employees were very nice. Duane showed us where to temporarily park and unhook our tow car.   Office staff member Sandy was wonderful during check-in.  She gave us a stack of brochures and patiently answered our questions about the local area.  Then Duane directed us to the site and backed me in.  He even threw in a couple of golf cart rides to and from the office.  To top it off, Pat directed us out of the site on departure day.  Thank you Gulf Air team!  This is an older park with very skinny sites.  Lots of permanent residents but the folks that we spoke to were friendly.  We stayed for 3 nights in grass site 66 and it was a tight fit for our 28 foot RV.  There was barely enough room for the car in front.  Longer rigs will definitely have issues.  Sandy mentioned a trolley that takes passengers to Fort Myers Beach.  It stops across the street and only costs 75 cents.  Fair warning: it is supposed to come every 15 minutes during the afternoon, but we had to wait for 45 minutes.  Suffice to say that they don't run on schedule so plan accordingly!  Loved the 50 free cable TV channels!  Our Verizon and AT&T phones had a very weak signal.  Campground bathrooms and showers appeared to be newly remodeled and were very clean.  Didn't try the laundry facilities or heated pool.  Recycling available onsite.  Walmart is right next door.
