Staff was friendly, cabin was dated but comfortable. We asked for a refrigerator and microwave and they placed them in the room at no additional charge. Pleanty of hot water. Door was not snug and allowed air in around the door frame. Breakfast is not inclused and overpriced ($12.00) per person. Area is safe however these cabins are right next to a main roadway and you can hear the big rigs early in the morning. This family appears to also own the Holiday in and Quality Inn, located on the same property. If breakfast had been included, this would have been a good deal. So take you nightly rate and at $12.00 per person to that, then see if it is as cheap as someplace else what includes breakfast. 

Comfortable but dated room. 

My in laws booked the “Suite” 2-bedroom with 3 beds cabin for 5 of us and as soon as we walked in we were all very surprised. The cabin didn’t look much like the ones on their website. It was tiny, had a queen bed as soon as you walked in then a bathroom which led to the second bedroom (jack and jill) with two doubles. I believe this set up would work for a family with two small kids but that is about it. The entire cabin was outdated and extremely cramped even for just two adults, it was also not very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful but that is about all that was great. Very misleading, would not recommend. You’re paying to sleep in a parking lot behind a comfort inn in a shack!

Poor Experience

Staff was very nice, but…This cabin is more like a little box. Toilet is lowest I’ve ever seen. Noise from traffic and LOUD window air conditioner. Crack between door and door jam. Spiders. No coffee maker. No fridge or microwave unless you ask. Then the roll in portables and take up the remaining floor space. We felt betrayed and trapped. Would not l let us cancel further nights. 

Warning! Worst room ever!

What a miserable experience!  I very was insulted while checking in, the parking was terrible with tour buses allowed to take up auto spaces (closest handicap parking a long walk to our cabin), air conditioning very loud above the beds, WiFi spotty at best in our cabin and the stuffed buffalo old and icky (don't know why anyone would consider taking it).

Unhappy Guest!

We stayed here for a couple of nights and that was long enough.
I had booked a x2 bed cabin but was given a 1 bed with a large bed.
The room was very small.
When we arrived there was a downpour and the cabin roof was leaking in the bathroom.

The shower was lovely, bed very soft but ok.

Staff were friendly 

All in all the cabin good do with a makeover.

Don’t expect to much.

We stayed two days here to make a two day trip to Yellowstone which is about an hour away. The cabins are behind the Holiday inn on the main drag and check in is at the gift shop. You get a real room key to get into your cabin and 10% off any gift shop purchase. The cabin was roomy and the bathroom was also roomy. The area was quiet and the beds were comfortable. This was everything we wanted. A different type of experience. 

Great Place To Stay

We booked through Hotels.com but Buffalo Bill Village cancelled our room before we got there.  We were in Cody at 10:00 p.m. with no place reserved and most of the hotels filled to capacity.  We were lucky to find another, though it was more than we had planned on spending.

When my husband and I booked one of the Buffalo Bill Cabins, we weren't sure what to expect but they looked pretty cute. When we arrived for check in, it was 102° outside! We hoped the cabins had air conditioning considering the cabins are 100 years old. We were so pleasantly surprised to open the door to a cool, clean, nicely decorated, modern interior with a bed and pillows that were as comfortable as ours at home. We had the best night's sleep we've had since we started on our trip 6 days ago!!

The cabins are a nice touch. Yes, they may seem out of place, but this is a town and not someplace out in the woods.  The beds are comfortable, and the AC worked great. There is a nice shop with a variety of gift ideas. There are many dining options within walking distance.

A cure for the common hotel room.

Great nights rest; AC worked amazing room was nice and chilly and so quiet.  Easy access to your car , very clean, comfortable bed and nice pool. You can easily walk to breakfast.  There is an ice machine outside the hotel that you can use. Highly recommended!
