On a road trip with family and needed a one night stay in the area.  This was a nice place to stay one night or even multiple if need be.  No morning breakfast area other than coffee ... vending machine access for a snack.

Nice location for a stay.

My husband and I was traveling through Alabama to get to home in Minnesota. We had two dogs with us, and booked the night on that day. Had no problems when we got in around 8 o’clock in the evening, we got a good room and where we could park with our travel trailer was very close. Which is always important to keep an eye on everything.
The room was clean, the bathroom/shower was big for a shower. 
Which is very nice. 
Hard floors, and the beds were sleepable. 
 
If you like a cheap, clean room, This will be it. 
And there was A lot of traffic going by, but inside I never heard anything.

The only thing that I wish they would have was a coffee pot for coffee because I do not have a continental breakfast that I was aware of. 

But otherwise, I would stay at this motel again. I have no complaints.

Nice place

The bottom of the bed was metal and made a noise when anyone moved on the bed.  Our room was facing US-231, so we listened to cars and trucks all night.  Other than those two things it was okay for the price

The rooms have been renovated but there is still a lot to do. The bathroom upgrade looks cheap. There is no closet. There is no iron and ironing board in the rooms. Housekeeping comes by when they can. If you are there when they come by they are not coming back. They'll bring you towels but forget having them come back while you are gone to clean. The hotel is affordable but pay a bit more and stay at a nicer hotel.

Not impressed

Stayed here enroute to Florida transporting my elderly patients.  The front desk staff were very helpful and accommodating as we had a pet and a non-smoking requirement BUT place just seemed sketch.  Creepy FEMA and other workers on way to hurricane affected areas just kind of lurking everywhere - nothing happened - but I felt very unsafe.  I'm not paranoid about these things but it was creepy......

I want to Troy Alabama to watch the football game over the weekend and was my experience at Motel 6 there have the most helpful desk agent Sam that I've ever encountered I went in early before check-in I had some errands to run I came back and when I came back there were no rooms available but Sam told me that had I checked in the first time we had a room available but Sam said he would check and see how long it would be before my room was ready most hotels I've dealt with don't really care they just tell you to come back so Sam check for me and told me it'd be about 15 minutes and I said I'd be happy to just have a seat whenever it was ready so finally the room was ready and during my way I overheard Sam till several guests that if there's anything at all wrong through room to come back and let him know and he can take care of it that again or something I'm not used to when we finally checked in Sam said that it was still early in Lee didn't have towels in all the rooms but he said he would get us towels as soon as he could later as we were starting to unload and go into the room Sam came with towels in his hand and actually brought them to us and I was saying Sam told us about a shuttle bus that goes the football games so that we wouldn't have to drive and pay additional for parking so I've just never encountered a desk agent that is has helpful and offers to help as much as I observed with Sam

Most helpful desk agent ever

Nicest place that I have ever stayed at for the price. Extremely clean room and the best thing was a laminated floor instead of nasty carpeting. The king size bed room was great along with the room size. Even had a mini- fridge with a microwave. The front desk person Stephanie was very kind and helpful. We were very pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. I highly recommend staying there, you will not regret it! And to top it off the room rate was incredibly low. You can park in front of your room and the parking lot was well lit. Did I mention that incredibly PETS STAY FREE!!! How awesome is that......

Surprisingly nice, affordable, pets stay free!

This is by far the best motel 6 I've ever been to, it probably the best motel I've ever stayed at. The bed was so comfortable! The rooms are a good size and very clean. I talked to the staff every day I was there and everyone was very nice and respectful. Sam at the front desk is a really cool guy! 

Best one in town

We stay at Motel 6's because we have pets when we do road trips.  Our expectations are never high, but we do try to find locations that have good grass areas, safe neighborhoods and recently renovated.  This location checked all our boxes.  Rooms were good, beds decent, clean and exterior was in great condition and well kept.  There is everything you could need close by as well which helps.
