Unfortunately, I can't recommend BudgetOne. Right after we arrived, we wanted to take a shower in the empty room opposite the hotel, but the plastic handle of the shower was broken and broke down. Then the notified staff turned off the water completely. No toilet, no handwashing and no shower. An early repair was not possible until the next day. We were asked if we still wanted to shower, and we were given a shower in the empty room opposite the hotel, while the male outsider staff was waiting in the hallway... When we made sure that the toilet and the sink would no longer work because there was water, we were asked if we could definitely not turn off an old toilet until the next day, so we could not break the bathroom seriously. We could definitely use (a clean room) and then we could use a new bathroom to clean the room, so if we could only say that it was not done properly, we could not have the bathroom in front of the bathroom. No service and no bathroom water

Stayed 5 days in July 2022. 6/10 - 7/10
8 levels. About 7 rooms on each level. No dustbin next to the lift.
1. The male chambermaid and counter staff did not greet the guests. No smiles too. Busy using mobile phone at the counter. Talked to guests bluntly.  Poor hotel etiquette. Foreign staff.
2. If you don't get them to clean the room or change the bedsheets DAILY, they will keep quiet.
3. Old traditional key to access the hotel room.
4. Need to return the key to the counter every time you leave the hotel.
5. The toilet door had some stains (looked like poo stains).
6. 3 -in-1 body wash and shampoo.
7. No table and chair, just an old stool. Request for them (different from the photos seen online). 
8. Litters under the bed. Request to clean them.
9. No bathtub in the toilet. Acceptable.
10. 2 towels in the toilet, 1 floor cloth. All clean.
11. Bed light is unusable. Perhaps, the management has no intention to repair the bed light.
11. 1 toilet roll (poor quality), 1 box of tissue paper, 2 sachets of instant coffee, 1 electric kettle. 2 toothbrushes with toothpaste.
12. A few power point sockets.
13. 1 telephone in the room which allows guests to call counter only, or allows outsiders to call counter staff who will transfer the call to the room.

16. Convenient with some coffee shops nearby.
17. A bus stop within 2 minutes walking distance. 10minutes walk to Aljunied MRT station. 
18. No swimming pool/restaurant (budget hotel)

** Not suitable for kids to walk around at night. Lots of vehicles moving along the roads. Red-light district.

Not Singaporeans staff who have NO  hotel etiquette

One of the staff was so rude. We were sure that out check out time was at 1pm as what he mentioned. However, when we came back to the hotel, he said he’s gonna let us pay an overstaying charge which was 60SGD because we need to check out at 11am. We we super disappointed!!!

Bad experience - poor customer service

The hotel is good for unpretentious travelers. There's everything you need, the clothes are clean, change often, hot water, wifi free, tea-café-teacup, cleaning every day. With children it 'll be more difficult, rooms are small. But the price is more than affordable!

It's a good hotel.

The title says it all. Good value, helpful staff. Out of the tourist area, but MRT five minute walk away and buses less than 100m walk to the main areas (more interesting than the MRT). 7/11 next to the bus stop, lots of local food places along the road, try the hawkers with the communal dining area on the right hand corner if you go left from the hotel. Would stay here again.

Basic, Quiet, Clean, Safe

This was the cheapest option on the list and it's pretty good value for what you get, in Singapore.  The AC was cold and the towels were clean.  There's a good place to eat across the street and the 7-11 is around the corner.  The only issue is that it's a bit of a walk to the MRT but you can use a share bike (Mobike, ofo) to get there fast.  Lots of foot traffic in this area, for the obvious reasons!

Good value for the money, especially for Singapore

As others have stated, this hotel is situated in the Red Light district.

The rooms are of good size, but not in particularly good condition, although they are clean.

The bed is comfortable. Toilet paper, tissues, toothbrush and a soap dispenser are provided along with a couple of sachets of coffee mix, small water bottles and kettle (my first room had no kettle).

The walls are pink (and stained) and the fittings Navy Blue; guess they were covering their bases... Furniture is old and miss-matched.

There is a small LCD TV, but the reception was so bad only 1 channel was watchable.

The Wi-Fi was intermittent, but ok when working.

There were ample plug sockets in the room, however the light switches are situated by the door, and nowhere near the bed.

The AC worked well.

Staff are friendly enough.

My advice would be to book online if you are thinking of staying here as prices online seem cheaper than that at the hotel: Mon-Thu = $60 SGD, Fri/Sun = $70 SGD and Sat = $85 SGD.

Average and not good VFM

The hotel was located next to the bus stop and Geylang Street. We were placed on the last (8th) floor with a view to the yard, no noise from the road was heard at all. The hotel's merits: the room is bright, a large window that opens (in many hotels the windows do not open), there is an early check-in and check-out service for an additional fee of 30 Singapore dollars. The reception desk was provided with an adapter (a deposit of 5 dollars), also two fans and a counter. The staff was very welcoming. In the room, every day, we cleaned the toilet without the need for a plastic bag, but without the need for a toilet paper, but there were only a few small toiletries, a toilet paper, a toilet paper, a toilet paper, a toilet paper, and a toilet paper, but there was no toilet paper, a small toilet paper, a toilet paper, a toilet paper, and a toilet paper.

Excellent combination of price and quality

We chose this facility because it was one of the cheapest and closest to the subway in Singapore. However, at the same price, in the same area, you can find the best: from the staff to the reception, rude. Despite the check-in at 2:00 p.m., when we arrived after 4:00 p.m., our room was not yet ready and we were offered a solution with two single beds.

It's better in the same area.

It's cheap, it's in a good location, it's right for the price, obviously not for a wedding night, convenient if you don't like guesthouses, lots of cheap restaurants around town, a bus ride or a subway.
